His fellow SEALs have lost their hearts one by one while murder gets in the way of the promise of finding his own true love. Eva loves animals, especially those in need. When a friend requests her help transferring a herd of horses from Mexico to new homes, she jumps at the opportunity…and lands herself in trouble. Swede is an old "frenemy", and he's determined to extricate her to safety before the rebels show up. Even as he works to shelter her, she struggles to protect her heart from him a second time. The rebels have plans of their own - one that isn't likely to involve a happily-ever-after in Swede and Eva's futures.

This is another amazing addition to the SEALs of Honor series with Swede finally admitting the love of his life is Hawke's sister Eva. He had not been with another woman since he decided eighteen months ago that no one compared to her and he wanted to see if she felt the same way.. They were on a mission in Mexico and coincidentally she was at there helping to rescue some wild horses that they were sending state side with her friend April helping also. The SEALs were there to take down a rebel camp that was right behind the ranch that Eva was staying. She recognized Swede and Shadow who were staking out the ranch because they had heard the rebels were going to kidnap some white women which turned out to be April and Eva that they were eyeing up. Now Swede had to pretend to be her finance that was surprising her so that he could protect them. This was a non stop action packed love story as the SEALs ended up taking out the rebels after the horses were shipped off. The rebels kept trying to grab Eva and she kept escaping as Hawke, Swede, Shadow with the rest of the SEALs kept saving her. In the end Eva and Swede admitted their love for each other and another SEAL found his true love. This was a fantastic story and I cannot wait to read the next release.

"She was Hawk’s sister and out of bounds". Geesh I hate that statement because she's only out of bounds if your only intent was a one night stand, not if your serious. Alpha Male needs to wake up.

Otherwise action and story was good except for the "stupid broad" attitude from Eva at start it was once again a great read and good addition to series.

But present events have brought them together in a very necessary way with a little help from the team. This action thriller is rife with kidnapping, murder, a vicious commandant, and so much more. While Eva concentrates on rescuing starving and abused horses, the SEAL team concentrates on keeping Eva safe while they shut down the bad guys. None of this is easy.

WOW! Another great story. This one involved Hawk's sister, Eva and Swede. The beginning has its funny parts. I liked that Eva totally surprised Swede and Shadow in the beginning chapter. Put a smile on my face. Then when the guys figured out who it was, Swede went into action protecting Eva. The women just seem to get into more trouble once they were safe. So happy that Swede and Eva finally acted on their love for each other. I totally love what the guys ask when they know their brother is falling in love - are you going to keep her? I love Eva's response! I am happy these two found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

Swede and Shadow are hiding out. Some horses come riding by and then some riders to get them rounded up. One of the riders looks right at them and calls them by name. They are so shocked, they just pull back. It takes Swede a bit to realize it was Eva, Hawk:s sister.
Eva is in Mexico to help relocate horses that need rescuing. If Swede and Shadow are there, so is her brother. Then he calls her. Swede is sent over to where Eva is so they can protect her and figure out what is going on. Now to solve this mission and explore their feelings.

I have been hooked on the 'SEALs of Honor' series from book one with Mason. And I have yet to read a book I didn't love. Swede's story was one of those that had been building for years when it came to Eva. But I completely understood his moral code when I related to a team mate's sister. Usually a no no, but there was definitely a type of chemistry between Eva and Swede. Swede is a man that's bigger than life, which in my book also means sexy as all get out. Strong, capable and honorable. Eva is smart, loving, stubborn and also full of life. I look forward to reading more. A great add to your tbr list.

Prolonged storyline with lots of action followed by a relatively short end. In all this series it is obvious from the outset that each seal is looking for his soulmate to settle down with. The adventures, while working show intense personal physical and psychological strengths of each seal but also with it comes them finding their individual love. So that's Swede found his! Well done Dale! Another twist in your capacity to write. Creativity continues to overflow.
