Easiest keyless lock to install and set up!

I have installed several keyless locks prior to this one and the SECURAM is BY FAR the easiest to set up and configure finger touch and entry codes. Installing takes less than 5 minutes . Watching the online installation video makes installing this very easy. A Phillips screwdriver is all you need. Setting up to work with the app is just as easy. This is a very well built lock that should last a very long time. I’ll now purchase the hub so I can have it work with Alexa. Highly recommend this lock.

After searching for a lock specific to our double deadbolt door specifications, this smart lock met all of our requirements. Quite frankly it was between this and the August as the interior housing’s are similar. We chose this lock because of its physical key access.

Pro’s:
-hardware was simple to install (20 minutes total)
-app guided installation/pairing was quick
-capable of handling a lot of codes
-housing feels well made
-app gives ability to adjust the locks settings easily

Cons:
- app needs work, interface is shotty
- ability to create users and codes is more complicated than necessary
-requires a hub
-did NOT include 6 inch safety wood screws

My boys were not locking the door, or forgetting their keys…it was such a mess. This locks up automatically, which I love! It was easy to install, and it’s super easy to program.

I have a plethora of different smart locks on different doors around my home and this one is hands down the worst I've ever bought. It's extreme annoying in almost every possible way.

- Design: Generally speaking, anyone wishing to use the lock must download the app and set up an account. This makes it utterly useless for any temporary uses like short term rentals, delivery drivers, contractors, etc. The only option is single use 8 digit codes that are extremely tedious to set up, must have an expiration date and time, and can only be used the one time each. Secure, yes, functionally useful, not even remotely.

- Connectivity: Absolutely atrocious. First of all, to use this lock remotely in any capacity, you most buy their dedicated hub, which is both overpriced and hella glitchy. This lock is already more expensive than nearly all competitors and the need for a very expensive hub to make it work makes the cost nearly double most similar locks. I had no problem paying this if it did all that it claimed, but unfortunately it is the glitchiest of all smart locks I've used. The most annoying thing is that the hub disconnects and reconnects dozens of times per hour and notifies you about this via push notifications. There is no option to turn this off, except for blocking all push notifications from the app, but then you can't keep track of the door usage. Furthermore, I've moved the hub around trying to remedy the issue and it's right next to the lock and still having connectivity issues. Like I mentioned, I have numerous other smart locks and no other ones are having connectivity issues, so it's not my network.

- Basic Functionality: The fingerprint sensor is the worst of any I've ever used on any lock or any device for that matter. We bought this lock for that feature and it flat doesn't work. We've been locked out. Ultraloq is MUCH MUCH better as far as fingerprint functionality goes. Don't even think about getting a Securam for this feature.

The batteries need to be replaced almost weekly, which is VERY ANNOYING! When it is working it great, finger print reading works okay, Pronounces “Locked” clearly. Installation was a bit challenging syncing with hub. Battery issue is main concern….
