Cary Allen Stone's novels are so accurate and credible as well as engrossing reads. Now Cary steps away from his cybercrime thrillers and enters what feels like a very significant new arena for his imagination and experience with flight. In a bow to his throng of fans, he talks directly to the reader about this new venture - 'SEEDS--The Journey Begins takes what we know today and adds what we think is coming tomorrow regarding technology, science, and colonization. The questions I wanted to answer are: If we listen to the warnings that humanity must leave the Earth in one hundred years in order to survive, what would a ship look like today or the next few years? What kind of propulsion is available? What would it feel like to travel for an extended time to reach a moon in our own galaxy? Do we really want to go to Mars? What about deep space? What would a colony be like in a new world? Can I successfully mix currently available science with science fiction?
Briefly, the concept of Book 1 of this trilogy is presented here - 'Have you ever sat on the back porch and gazed at the stars wondering what it would be like to live on an exciting new world? Did you ever think what it would be like to be on a ship to one of those stars, a moon, maybe an exoplanet? "SEEDS - The Journey Begins" takes you on that wild ride inside Saturn's rings to the moon Titan. Commander John Kelly's crew, with an expert on the Universe riding along, will be your guides.'
Tantalizing? You bet, but until you've become addicted to Cary's writing the surprises will arise on every page. For addicts to his books...well, just wait, it is coming. A new winner series for Cary Allen Stone. Grady Harp, January 17

Amazing sci-fi adventure, exploring the future of humanity November 22, 2017
In this book, Cary Allen Stone steps into a new territory (no pun intended) and leaves behind the crime/mystery genre that made him a star. He's now walking in the sci-fi arena and he does an impressive job with this first book, starting what appears to be a new series coming up.
With SEEDS (meaning Strategic Extra-Earth Development Site), the author launches an amazing interstellar adventure. It explores what the future will be like when humankind has to leave the Earth, where we are heading and the problems with transport and colonization of new planets. Being the first book of a future series, the author does a very good job describing the situation, the challenges, the program and - of course - the characters. It's a book filled with a big attention to details, with a great futuristic plot, one that forces humanity to look into our mistakes, what we did to Earth and what we now must do to survive. Great reading.

A journey made necessary by the mistakes of man! November 4, 2017
I have to admit I was torn between a four and five star on this book. The author does a great job writing the story and I love the idea he puts forth. There is a lot of technological explanations and quite a few characters in the story. It takes a while before readers get to what I call the meat of he story. The author does a good job explaining how the project SEEDS is put together and that is important because this is a continuing series. I found it interesting and pertinent as to why the project was needed and think we all the craziness in the world, mostly coming from America that part of the story should make readers sit up and take notice. By the time I reached the twist at the end, I had decided this book deserved a five star and I am excited to see where this book heads. The teaser definitely has my interest up.
