As a weight management aid, "Sensa Quench Berry Splash" and "Sensa Quench Orange Crush" have little real value. The full feeling this product purports to create is the result of drinking 12 - 16 ounces of liquid. Drinking the same amount of plain water would do the same thing. The combination of caffeine contained in the guarana seed extract and the green tea extract may boost one's metabolism and may help increase weight loss; however, users should not count on that. Caffeine also provides a bit of energy for most individuals, hence the energy boost claim.
The per serving cost of Kool-Aid is approximately 6 cents; "Sensa Quench Berry Splash" is approximately $1.22 per serving and the cost of "Sensa Quench Orange" is approximately 81 cents per serving. That is significant, particularly in view of the limited weight management and nutritional properties of this product.
Consumers who have money to burn and those individuals who are still searching for the magic weight management tool may find this product a good choice. Others should save their money.
I know it's better than reaching for a name brand soda, even a diet soda which I loathe.
I do drink bottled water and the trick is not to add one of these little packets into a full bottle of water - It will NOT work! Drink some until the water line is down an inch or two and then add and shake. BUT, that might make it too strong a flavor for you, so don't add all of the packet to just one bottle of water. I find it a bit gagging to use it all at one time. More gagging with warm water - less with cold water, but sometimes it doesn't mix real well with cold water either.
This is not the taste of soda nor is it meant to be......soda does not have an aftertaste :(
I recently bought a 3 month starter kit of the SENSA from a large shopping network. I keep forgetting to sprinkle which is the key to using Sensa so I am not sure it is the plan for me. I need to put large notes on cabinet doors to remind me - sprinkle those scrambled eggs! Sprinkling the bread on a sandwich is almost impossible - they say you can 'spritz' the bread with water to help the Sensa adher to it - no, not in my Dagwood sandwich world - will not work and makes the bread a bit wet/soggy.
So, I thought using the Sensa drink might help with appetite cravings .... it does, if I force myself to drink it. The aftertaste takes away any appetite I might have had.
I actually LOVE the chocolate Sensa chews so that might be my alternative for the drink.Read more ›
I did not get the jitters nor did I have any side effects. Just drinking the liquid would have a positive effect but I did find that my appetite was reduced and the drink fit well within my weight loss program. Did have some minor problems sleeping at night.
I did find that the drink worked as a dietetic, with frequent trips to the bathroom and some loss of bladder control, but minor. Using the drink I have lost 20 pounds in 4 weeks and will start going to the gym this week to finish my weight loss program.
There is one drawback. Price. I did buy it at a discount so my cost was less than $.80 a packet. However try and find another product in power form that will do the same and the price will be just as high. If your goal is to lose weight then you're concern should be results not price. It is not like your going to purchase a lifetime supply. It is not a magic pill but does give you an edge as part of your overall program. Give it a try for 4 weeks.

Love the taste of this, gives me energy and squashes my soda craving. Didn't give it 5 stars only because it's expensive. Couple people mention how it's hard to mix. Read morePublished on December 31, 2013 by decker
