The good news is that this book is chock full of looks, and it has a very all inclusive feel. Many up and coming designers I've never heard of are included, and I'm fairly informed on the subject. A good couple of pages are included for each designer.
Major players in the fashion swirl who are included: Vivienne Tam, Zang Toi, Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera, Chado Ralph Rucci, Diane Von Furstenberg, DKNY, Donna Karan, Jill Stuart, Lacoste, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Nanette Lapore, Nautica, Nicole Miller, Tracey Reese, Vera Wang,
Overall, the styles here range from the monochromatic to the strongly colorful, and most are fairly edgy. A great collection of images is offered here, providing inspiration for any stylist, designer or fashionista.
Men's fashion is here too, but the concentration is on women's lines.

Don't get me wrong, this is a very very nice book with great color photos on each page. There are styles from as many as 80 designers, most of whom I wasn't familiar with except for Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg, DKNY, Jill Stuart. Elie Tahairi and Lacoste. The styles are definitely designed for the young and hip fashioniesta, and not a more mature 50+ woman.
The book is well designed and has a header with the designers name followed by a multi-page photo layout, many runway style. Colorful, some bold, some edgy, evening wear, outerwear, sportswear and more. The majority is for women, but there were a few male models as well. Trend setters will probably get a bit more out of this book than I did, but I still enjoyed looking at it and appreciate a quality product when I see it.
The images of the collections are not crammed onto one page but given room and size appropriate for evaluation purposes. Standouts are given more real estate but still next to brethren to allow for needed same-page comparisons. Designer names are at the top of each page for reference and the collections are indexed on the front.
As a fashion photographer, I found this an invaluable resource - it is everything promised and more collected into one large, beautifully printed volume.
