- Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
- Do not overfill the mag: If you fill the mag and gas begins to spill, STOP. Let the magazine warm up to room temperature before attempting again. This is usually about 5-6 minutes.
- Green Gas pistols do not work very well in cold environments! If the user is attempting to fire the pistol when the temperature is below 50 degrees, only 2-5 shots will fire as green gas will not expand at colder temperatures.
- Use HIGH grade .20g or heavier BBs for your guns. Lower quality BBs will tend to jam in the magazine well, preventing proper firing.
- Gas-gun care: Be sure to keep your slide and all moving parts lubricated with SILICONE oil. Do not use anything else such as petroleum based lubricants.

Sig Saurer's P226 is a 1:1 scale with blow back for ture life action. Shoots 383 feet per second and has a magazine capacity of 26 rounds. Full metal body for strength. You can adjust the hop-up for better accuracy.
A 1:1 scale replica of a Sig Sauer pistol, the P226 gas-powered pistol is remarkably authentic. Like all airsoft guns, the P226 fires small plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun via a gas blow-back mechanism. The advantage of the airsoft pistol, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The P226 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real Sig Sauer firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can tell a real steel firearm from an airsoft pistol is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The P226 offers such features as a durable full metal body, a velocity of 379 feet per second (with 0.12-gram BBs) or 295 fps (with 0.2-gram BBs), a 40-foot range, and a magazine capacity of 26 BBs. The pistol also includes an adjustable hop-up for better accuracy.
- Power source: Gas

- Capacity: 26 BBs

Loading is a cinche with one of those trigger style speed loaders, and I've been using it with propane and the $15 green plastic adapter available here on Amazon. I LIKE the plastic. It seats better than the metal units I've tried.
In terms of shooting - the white dot on the sights is a really nice quality touch. Shooting at 50 feet target, grouping is very tight so in terms of consistency I would give this gun a 5/5. Firing off a full clip in quick succession is very pleasing too, and the sound it makes with air release, and blowback action is a reasonably satisfying "thunk".
The claimed velocity on the box is 383 fps or something.. and I wouldn't doubt it. I have a bolt action airsoft rifle that doesn't pack as much punch.
Not sure what weight the BBs are that come in the box, but this gun is happy with anything from .12g to .25.. and in fact the .25 BBs seem no slower and hit a target with a very satisfying force. I don't have a chrono so can't give any numbers.
On the orange tip.. Well that is what it is. I hear different debates on what is legal, and not even sure if it is legal to remove this even if the gun never leaves your house.. who knows, but for what it's worth, this is orange paint. Notice (you can see from the pic) that this protrudes out the front of the gun (like a Berertta) which is NOT like a Sig, so if you wanted to rid the thing of the orange tip AND make the gun a better replica you just have to cut off the tip, put a smooth edge on the cut, and paint black.
All in all. RECOMMENDED.
1) Gas - so semi auto without the pain of CO2 cartridges
2) Happy on propane, so practically free to use
3) Blowback action is super satisfying
4) White sight dots, and adustable (left/right) front sight
5) Full metal feels great.
7) As with any GAS powered pistol, it's great to have the ammo and gas in the magazine. Means you can buy a few and load up.
1) No safety. Not a deal killer but it is what it is. You do have a knob to release the hammer which is "pseudo" safety.
2) Protruding front barrel is unlike the real SIG but better this with an orange tip than the manufacturer being forced to paint the front of the rail orange to satisfy US requirements.
3) The loader tube that comes with it is a bit of a fail.. not sure how they expect you to use that. Buy a speedloader for $3.
oh and for those wondering, it comes in the blue cardboard Sig branded box (Cybergun distributed), not the Sig branded plastic pistol case D;
First, the pros:
-The gun feels absolutely great in the hand.
-The frame is constructed of full metal, the hammer, the trigger, the barrel, EVERYTHING IS METAL!
-Overall the quality of the gun is great
-The build quality of the gun is great, the metal is tough, the paint nice (but too shiny), the feel great, everything is in the right place.
-The kick from the gun is GREAT!
-The sound the slide gives when cocked is just out of this world awesome
-Same goes for the magazine click (when inserted)
-The fact that it resembles the Sig in almost EVERY aspect is the best part!
-The gun is really heavy in the hand, it feels like the real deal.
-Everything works on the gun like the real deal
-The gun's sights seem like they are supposed to be removable...but the only one i got off was the back sight. The gun actually comes with a hex key to allow you to remove the front sight, but I could not for the life of me get it off.
-The gun sights are not glow in the dark :'(
-Unfortunately, the orange tip is also metal, making it next to impossible to remove in a good looking manner.
-The magazine has a LOT of play when inserted, it can rattle while running, a bit of electrical tape would probably fix that though.
-the hammer does not act in the exact same way as the real steel, when the triggers pulled the hammer goes farther in than on the real steel. Thats not a big deal though.
-the biggest con by far, and why I gave it only 3 stars is that the gas system and magazines suck. The mags leak, the gas system is also inefficient and leaks.
heres a more detailed description of the mags/gas system:
I have now gone through two of these guns and I'm getting a refund on it. I;m going to go with a more respected brand *cough* KWA.
The first gun worked GREAT for about...3 maybe 4 magazines. Then it began to not hold the gas needed to fire an entire magazine. Then I go to use it one day and BAM gas starts leaking everywhere. So i go and buy another O-ring to seal the bottom of the mag, doesn't work, I then try using O-ring sealant, doesn't work. I get the gun replaced. The new gun hasn't leaked so far (about 6 mags or so) but wont hold enough gas to fire an entire mag, only about 14-16 shots and is VERY finicky. the action seems faster at times and slower at others. Twice now the gun will be firing and the just *POOOOF* the gas will come blowing out of the barrel emptying the entire magazine of gas. SO its going back and I am getting a refund.
For the avid airsofter, this gun probably isn't the best choice, for the backyard shooter, if you don't mind the the blowout and the fact that it wont shoot half of the quoted amount of BB's (26), then its great. For gun collector/prop guy, this gun could be great. it looks and feels very much like the real steel. Truthfully, I love it's feel so much I'm going back and forth trying to decide whether to get a refund or just have it replaced....again...
Overall a well built gun, but leaks gas. You would have to be lucky to get one that doesn't stop functioning correctly within 30 days.
Feels great in your hands; nice and heavy, full metal construction aside from the handgrip.
With that said, there is some problem with the gas system. The blowback doesnt feel too strong to begin with and as you go through a mag, you seem to loose extra gas with each shot. I was never able to get through a full mag of bb's without running out of gas. I thought it was just mine at first but I exchanged this gun once and it still had the same problems. Also, I have other gas blow back pistols that have correctly functioning gas systems. It's so very unfortunate that this gun is not better.
Love the real feel clip and the "easy loader" it comes with.
Accurate and strong, fantastic side arm for when you are playing airsoft.
It is a wee bit loud since it uses the blow back gas, so not very tactical but whatever!
Make sure you get the canisters of the blow back gas I couldn't find any at my local sports store and Walmart.
Just to make it easy, here are the cons.
It would be a lot nice if the serials and logo were actually done by laser rather than ugly white text.
The orange tip is NOT removable unless you take a hacksaw to it and then smooth out the end.
The magazine for the gun has a really bad valve when you insert the gas can. It sprays out gas out.
