      I've been using these open ear headphones for my workouts, and they're fantastic. They're lightweight and the ear hooks keep them securely in place, even during intense activities. The sound quality is clear, and having four microphones ensures my calls are always crisp. They're water-resistant and the 30-hour playtimes is more than enough. A great option for anyone looking for reliable headphones for sports or outdoor activities.

      I'm a fan of open-ear style headphones and decided to try these out. I've found I prefer ear buds that rest over my ears instead of inserting into my ear. I like the situational awareness (I can still hear things around the house, or while walking outdoors) and I don't get that plugged up feeling of having my ear jammed up. That said, you do generally get audio that is a little quieter, a little less robust, but that is the trade off I am willing to make. These have good sound quality and I tried them with several different kinds of music to test their response. Big bass 90's R&B played at 100% volume with no distorting, and some quiet acoustic guitar was just as good with hearing the details of the strings being strummed. I watched a little Netflix on my PC and there didn't seem to be too much of a lag. The only downside I could find is while I wore these for a few hours while gaming they started to hurt my ears a little bit. I eventually had to take them off. Other than the slight comfort issue, these were a decent pair of open ear buds. You may be able to find a good competitor for cheaper, however. Update: after a few months of usage I noticed some pairing issues with the ear buds. I have them connected to my phone right now, but the phone doesn't recognize they have a microphone, just speakers. So I can't make calls or anything. I also find these earbuds disappear off my previous paired devices list at random. I may use them for a week, then one day go to use them again and they are not saved on my phone and I need to re-pair all over again. I suspect this is not my phone as I like to test new earbuds and have about 7-8 pairs sitting here on my desk right now. These errors do not happen with any other brand or earbud. I am knocking off two stars because having to re-pair these and not being able to use their full functionality is annoying and frustrating. They have great sound and I would love to use them consistently, but just can't and so I can't recommend these.

      Der SIVGA SO2 Ohrhörer gehört von der Bauweise her zu den Open-Ear-Geräten, die am Ohr aufliegen und die akustischen Signale über Luftbeschallung, also durch eingebaute Lautsprecher, übertragen. Das bedeutet auch, es gibt keine aktive Umweltgeräuschunterdrückung. Um die Geräte nutzen zu können, muss zuerst die Schutzfolie von den Ladekontakten entfernt werden. Danach legt man die Kopfhörer zurück ins Lade-Etui, lädt die Geräte voll auf und lässt vor der ersten Verbindung mit dem Sender den Deckel auf.

      Die Bluetooth-5.3.-Kopplung verläuft problemlos und der Soundcheck kann gestartet werden. Dazu klemmt man die Bügel hinter die Ohren, was auch bei Brillenträgern gut funktioniert. Sie liegen sehr angenehm und sicher am Ohr an, da der Bügel weich ist und die einzelnen Geräte nur 10 Gramm wiegen. Der Tragekomfort ist perfekt, man spürt die beiden Kopfhörer fast gar nicht.

      Klanglich erstaunen die Kopfhörer im Vergleich zu gleich teuren Knochenschallkopfhörern, bei denen bei gleicher Bauart der Schall über die Wangenknochen ins Ohr übertragen werden. Bei den Knochenschall-Geräten gibt es nämlich meistens Sound-technisch noch sehr viel Luft nach oben. Die SIVGA SO2 bieten im Vergleich dazu ein wesentlich saubereres und dynamischeres Klang-Konstrukt. Sie klingen luftig, klar und räumlich. Die Höhen und Mitten sind ausgewogen vorhanden und die Bässe spielen auch eine ansprechende Rolle.

      Mir gefällt das Klangbild jedenfalls ausgezeichnet – auch wenn natürlich bei InEar-Kopfhörern der gleichen Preisklasse hinsichtlich des Sounderlebnisses mehr möglich ist. Aber der Abstand wird mit den SIVGA SO2 wesentlich geringer! Durch die IPX5-Zertifizierung sind die Hörer strahlwassergeschützt, sodass ihnen auch ein Wolkenbruch nichts anhaben kann und sie draußen ohne Probleme ihre Dienste leisten können.

      Fazit: Ich halte sehr viel von der Luftleitungs-Technik, da bei mir InEar-Hörer häufig entweder zu fest oder zu locker sitzen. Dieses Problem gibt es hier nicht. Ich nutze die SIVGA SO2 Ohrhörer hauptsächlich beim Joggen und Gassigehen. Dafür sind sie optimal, weil sie schlechtem Wetter und starken (Kopf)Bewegungen trotzen. Außerdem klingen sie harmonisch und sind über die Touch-Oberflächen leicht und sicher zu bedienen. Für mich sind sie im Bereich der Luftleitungs-Ohrhörer bisher die beste Wahl! Und noch ein großes Plus ist der Support-Service von SIVGA: Ich hatte anfangs Probleme bezüglich der Handhabung: Über die Hotline-Email-Adresse wurde mir freundlich, kompetent und schnell geholfen. So sollte ein Kundendienst funktionieren.

      So, these sound pretty decent, the battery life is adequate and they are very comfortable in the gym or on a run. The sound is an order of magnitude better than Shockz to be honest. They don't sit in the ear canal like the Beats did, so I don't get an annoying thump with every step. Open design that sits over the ear allows really good situational awareness, but this also means that they don't block noise such as the ever present thumping soundtrack at the gym from getting in. Also, no need to deal with ear tips or dirty filters.

      However, the touch controls need some refinement. Biggest problem is that while wearing a hat or Buff, a damp surface will trigger the touch controls. Long story short, if I adjust my hat during a run, the movement will register as a control and cause the music to fast forward, pause, etc... Not too great if you want to listen to music while running during the winter while wearing a hat.

      Comfort wise, they work well with sunglasses and fit securely. I do notice them more than the Shockz, but they aren't uncomfortable by any means.

      Bluetooth connectivity is good, but they seem to glitch occasionally at the gym. Connection with the Garmin 255 music has been strong on runs. There have not been any issues with sweat, rain or snow so far.

      These have been a really great pair of headphones so far. Its just that the touch controls can be so annoying at times. Annoyances aside, if I were to be honest, I haven't used my Shockz Open Pros since I started using these.

      It's the first time I've used this kind of earphones that fit over each ear but the speakers are outside the ear canal and they are impressive. They come in a neat little case that is used to charge them as well as keep them safe. A short USB-C cable is provided that plugs into the case itself.

      In use they use Bluetooth and pair in the normal fashion. I found it very easy to connect to my phone or PC. Sound quality is excellent and there's no noticeable loss of bass or treble when listening to music. Stop, start, track change and call handling is all controlled by various combinations of taps on one or other of the units: one tap to raise the volume say or two to mute the sound. There's quite a few combinations of from one to three taps to learn but they are all described fairly clearly in the instruction booklet (very small print). Getting the right tempo of tapping takes a bit of practice, and even then can be a bit hit-or-miss, but it does work well enough.

      Phone call handling is fairly seamless. You can make a call by using your phone's voice control and the microphone function works well despite the ear pieces being so far away from your mouth.

      They are very light and comfortable too. A couple of times I did find after about an hour or so that I needed to move them slightly as the loops that hook over the ear are somewhat tight and can make your ear sore. Mostly though I had no issue as long as I made sure I had them seated in the correct place from the start.

      You can pay a lot of money for these kind of things but the £69.90 for these is at the mid to low end cost-wise and so far seem like good value. All in all I'm impressed and pleased and will be retiring the in-ear ones I was using before.
