"Although each book, individually, might win from me just four stars, the combined six stories utterly floored me with their diversity, humor and mystery. Therefore, I heartily recommend reading the entire set at one time, to gain maximum enjoyment. Five stars out of five." - Bill Anderson, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer
"Ken Rossignol's Marsha and Danny Jones shipboard suspense series provide us insights into the inner circles of both the industry and security measures of major cruise ships as well as a rip-roaring, non-stop conflict and resolution. Rossignol keeps the reader's neck on the chopping block and fingers flipping pages." -- Robert W. Walker, author of Titanic 2012 & Bismarck 2013. Robert W Walker Books.com
"Are cruise passengers bored to tears? Not on the Sea Empress
. All manner of mayhem strikes as soon as Marsha and Danny Jones hire on as security." - PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
"Well, you want my opinion about "The Privateer Clause" by Ken Rossignol? It's a dandy! One of those novels where you just want to turn off the television for an hour or so, for maybe a week or 10 days straight, and just immerse yourself into life on a cruise ship.

"Very good reading, can't wait for the next one. Action packed all the way through the boat. Liked the current content." - Bill Hall
"Incredible read. Hated to have it end. I have researched his other four books in this series and I will purchase them soon. Loved the characters. Couldn't put it down."

This review says it all (but don't let this stop you from posting your own review and be careful how many stars you give as our Serial Killer has your stateroom number)
"This is the first maritime novel I've read and I'm impressed. The Privateer Clause opened up a whole new world to me that I'm happy to be a part of. I've never cruised the high seas but while I was reading I felt I could have been a passenger watching the events as they happened.Danny and Marsha feel like old friends and with any great story I was sad to reach the end until I realized the fun and adventure could continue in the next book.I felt their excitement during the action, their relief for a well deserved vacation, and admired their determination to keep fellow passengers safe. The mix of current events made the story real for me. I can't wait to begin another adventure aboard the Sea Empress and am grateful to the author for introducing me to a new and interesting subject."- Cheryl Stuckey
I am grateful for Cheryl for her summary, as one of the reasons I decided to write this series is that I just couldn't fathom sitting around the pool on the ship watching all the other fat people. My mind raced to the "what if" corner and found all these wonderful characters that you will meet in this series of the Marsha and Danny Jones Thrillers. Most of them are people just like you, they either signed on for a job to support their families, working on ships, providing security or booked a cruise for a well-deserved vacation.
Most of the books include one or more great meals with instructions on how to fix them. The characters are proud of the wonderful creations and hope that you may try them. We have had a few stuffy readers who must get their nourishment from fast food joints and took umbrage at providing a recipe in a thriller novel. Fortunately, we threw them overboard and they provided a great meal for the sharks, though there were a few complaints such as being stringy, sour and tough.
