    Hooked it up, works like it is supposed to work. Will be an addition to my DCS controls.

    NOTE: For those wanting to use this for a button box, the thumb sticks only work for throttle or rudder.

    I’ve used them with success as a 2nd joystick(right analog stick) for arcade machines. I really like the play and feel of the joystick. They have quite the flex, but if you use it as a throttled joystick I can only throttle it about half way before my sensitivity sees it at 100% in mame64...no matter where I adjust my sensitivity. Maybe it’s operator error. If I could dial it in that full throttle meant 100% in the software instead of half throttle, it would get 4.5 stars.

    Instead it gets 4. The encoder itself works fine, although the controller inputs for this joystick matches the joystick u/d/l/r on the board. I had to hook up my happ joystick to 4 of the ‘k’ button inputs and map accordingly to use as 2 separate devices. If you’re not going overboard with your buttons, you’re in the clear.

    I bought this to create flight sim hardware as the description listed "3D joystick for flight simulation games" as a usage. It has a very large dead spot for analog input that seems to be baked into the hardware. Connecting potentiometers to the analog input leaves you turning quite a bit in the center of the pot before values are registered. Disappointing. This is common for analog joystick input on gaming systems, but usually controlled via software so don't know why they built it into the hardware. I'm sure I'll use it for another project, just not the one I bought it for.

    While watching a video on YouTube I downloaded a firmware update. I shouldn't have used it. I have a CY-2801 and don't know how to undo the update. I had an issue with the right analog stick and assumed the firmware would fix it. It didn't. I don't know of any other way to contact the seller besides writing a review. Hopefully, they'll see this and reply somehow.

    Let me tell you what you're actually getting:

    Switch - once you set the pro controller mode on the switch it's plug and play, it goes into some weird special mode once plugged into the switch you cannot change modes.

    Android - support is only a half truth, you have to have a rooted Android device with special gamepad drivers.

    PC - it defaults to PS3/PC mode but you can use the mode button to change to xbox 360 mode, unfortunately it defaults to PS3 mode everytime its unplugged.

    The thing with the mode: button it's also the home button and also the d-pad analog stick switch button the mode button is very annoying to use.

    Also the stick d-pad swap mode only works on PS3 mode and it also changes the right stick behavior for some stupid reason. but it does not swap on Xbox 360 mode.
