I purchased this little camera because the horizontally mounted camera I wanted was out of stock. I am not unhappy with this, but a couple of things need to be considered before you decide. The removable clip on this is plastic and of questionable durability. The spring clip on it does not rotate. I carry the instruction manual around because the single-button function can be a little confusing if you haven't used it for a while and you don't first connect it to your phone to see what is happening. If you plan to deploy this quickly, make another plan, or set it up and hold your phone and the camera until your opportunity or situation presents itself.
Overall, I am happy with this. No tiny camera like this will have a full range of controls and a rear-facing screen so you can see what you are recording or if your mount is set up correctly. When this one breaks I will not buy it again, but I have no reason to replace it or return it and if it lasts a few years I will be just fine with it.
