Device was advertised as supporting high-speed USB 2.0. Device does not support high-speed USB 2.0 (480Mbps), it supports full speed (12Mbps) using Analog Devices' ADuM4160. Also, note that the isolation DC-DC converter supplies only 1Watt compared to a normal USB 2.0 capable of 2.5Watts meaning a higher power USB device will likely not function.

I was looking for an affordable USB audio filter solution, and this fit the bill. My Behringer mixer was awesome, but was injecting power interference into the audio stream that made it virtually useless as an audio interface. Once I put this filter between it and the powered USB hub, the hum went away and I was happy again. They should mention audio applications (this device is sold for medical equipment), because they could probably make more sales.

I was having issues with a Bluetooth receiver in my car having horrible ground loop feedback and alternator whine. Since the receiver is powered from USB I just searched for a USB ground loop isolator and this popped up. Plugged it in and the ground loop and wine issues were gone. Nothing but silence now when no music is playing! Since Bluetooth receivers use very minimal power, this worked absolutely perfectly.

Does exactly what is states and breaks ground loops on USB connections. I had a slight, but annoying hum on my audio system when using my turntable. After tracking down the hum to my USB audio device (Schitt Modi) I was able to add this to the cable and the hum is gone.
