Not as good as the Shadow but good overall. I have this headset as well as the Shadow. The Shadow fits very nicely in your ears and sounds great. But the flop around way too much particularly for workouts. So I got these hoping for the same fit and sound...but sadly, they do not fit as well or as comfortable. They also don't sound as good. But they are much better at not flopping around and stay put for workouts. So I will be using these for the gym and any other activity that bounces around and the Shadow for everything else.

Bought these at the end of January. Loved them until a week ago, when they stopped holding a charge. Now they are useless. Even if I charge them overnight, they run out of power after less than a minute. I contacted customer service by email and have yet to receive a response.

I’ve had two of these now. I’ve bought several of these for friends. Somehow or another I just have bought the last good ones for my friends because they all have no complaints about theirs and yet I’m on my second shoddy pair.

My first pair had several issues which turned out to be common for these. The power button stopped working, they would turn on and off without prompting, and they pretty much hit a point where they were unusable just about 30 days after I bought them. I work out 6 days a week, so they got a decent bit of use in that time.

The sound quality is above average for something this size and comparable to the apple headphones that come with an iPhone. Noise cancelling isn’t exactly what they do, but they definitely can quote noises from the surrounding environment.

My second pair I’ve had for about a week and the compartment that holds the controls already pooped off when I was unplugging during charging. I have a feeling that’s the end of the sweat/water resistance offered by these. It hasn’t stopped the from working yet, but I’m concerned and will probably be contacting the seller soon.

The Sol Republic Relays Sport Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are nice. They fit comfortably in my ears. I purchased them based on a recommendation by a friend. There is nothing wrong with them other then I ordered black and these are not completely black. Some parts are, while the others are kind of a dark magenta (blue gray). Another issue I have and this is with practically all earbuds, is why do the designers insist on having the flashing blue light (any light) on all the time. I usually don't want people, especially while at work, to know I have earbuds on but that is not possible with a flashing blue light. I will keep the earbuds but I will need to find another set without the light.

My wife and I needed a new set of sports headphones for the gym. We.just finished a long term relationship with jaybirds.

I bought these after a lot of research. Based on their own conviction of making headphones that capture the soundtrack of life and the r&d being invested in making great headphones, these sounded like a steal.

Unfortunately I was misled and these fell short on every account.

I didn't have as many problems as my wife did (with the same exact pair). Barely 3 months in and both have faulted.

Mine short circuited once while in use (sweat is the only possible explanation, if not poor build quality) and now last abt 2 - 3 hours at best.

Hers have suddenly lost abt 50-60% audio on the right bud (though she doesn't sweat much).

Both are carefully kept in pouches when not in use.

On top of that, they are really cumbersome to pair and the plastic mould with the perforations leave an indentation in your ear and cause annache after more than 30 miniutes of wearing them (tolerable if you're willing).

Overall, a nice looking, almost fantastic but mostly substandard headphone set. Not one, but two pairs - both with issues.

Stopped working after ~1 month. No response from SOL for warranty. Fit great, sounded great, good battery life while they worked. Color from the pic is true to color on the actual headset. Seems durability is a common issue with bluetooth headphones. This was my second pair of the same model and had the same early demise. Should have spent more on a better brand with better warranty. As much as I hate brands like Beats or similar I thin kthe warranty is better. Strongly consider a squaretreade warranty on these.

These are great! I am a runner and wanted something wireless. After a lot of research, I found these ones to be the best. They are light-weight and comfortable.

Update: After having these for some time, I wanted to do more of an update. I stand by saying that they are very nice and easy to use but the controls are harder to use because the control area is thicker, I find it hard to grab. I also have a hard time trying to answer calls or respond to text messages.

I've used this head set for about a year now and am quite disappointed with them. They sell these as though the are a No-Slip ear buds but they do not stay in my ears once I've worked up a sweat. I have tried the different bud sizes that come with the headset but none of them have worked as nonslip. I bought these because I have the wired version and they worked phenomenally! The Wireless version not so much. I've also notice that the volume fluctuates erratically. Sometimes the volume is loud one moment then soft the next, like it vary's step to step as i'm jogging. Would not recommend the wireless version of these earbuds. Stick with the wired version.

Notice how all the good reviews are Vines Reviews where the people were given them for free? Here is a real review where I bought them with my hard earned money.

Bought these and within minutes of them arriving I realised I had made a mistake, they are horrible, the sound quality is terrible, I honestly have never ever in my life had headphones this bad for sound quality.

The quality when using as hands free with the phone is even worse, the people I was attempting to speak with could not hear me and I could barely hear them.

Sound Quality: Very tinny and basically cheap and nasty.
Build Quality: Flimsy
Hands Free Quality: You and the person you are phoning cannot be heard.

This was my first SOL product and it will be my last from now on I'll pay a little extra to get better quality in both build and sound.

Although for some reason my second pair is having a connection issue where if I have my phone in my right pocket and look left they lose connection which is really annoying and not what the previous ones did.

Bought this product on 29th june 2018 and stopped working today 24th August 2018. Ive sent multiple emails to SOL republic but they just dont respond.
First the on/off button stopped working. Then it used to randomly shutdown even though it had full charge. There is no fast charge as the company claims. And it doesnt last for upto 8 hours. Dont be fooled! I Regret purchasing this product.

I loved these so much at one point I had three pair but the original pair I bought is the only one still working. The battery life on that original pair is very short but they are two years old. The others...the one pair got wet in rain and shorted out was off warranty so out of luck. The other pair the one ear stopped working was on warranty. I sent back and they shipped me a replacement. Well after a few months the same side of the new pair also stopped working. These headphones are so comfortable I am considering another pair but not sure if they aren't being made as well as the original pair I bought 2 years ago...
