This book is truly amazing! I feel like my soul has been searching for this book to put me & guide me on my true path to live a peaceful, happy, and more fulfilling life. I've realized things I've been doing to keep negativity in my life that has prevented me from being happy. Not only has it helped me as an individual, but has also helped me as a wife, mother, and friend. I've learned positive life habits that I know will stick with me forever. I've been depressed & feel like I've literally tried everything from medication, other self help books, even diet & exercise, and although those things helped for a little while it always came back. I realized with this book how I was staying stuck & needed to make life changes on the inside to prevent the depression from returning. I look forward to teaching my boys all that I have learned so that they can start positive life habits now. This book is easy to understand and follow. If they would teach this type of positivity and simple life habits in schools our world could truly be a much better place to live. Imagine if everyone was kind to one another! So far (and I'm about a third of the way through), pretty terrible. That is, it's pretty much an advertisement for their expensive coaching! So while they pretend they're giving you ways and means, they just talk ABOUT what needs to happen, not how to actually go about it. Fluff and no substance. Sure, the CONCEPTS are spot-on (nothing new there, however) and they embed a couple of good quotes, but I get a little tired of their "scientists are now saying..." -type remarks with NO footnotes. Who's saying this? Where could I learn more about any particular aspect of the research upon which they're "proving" their work? A waste of fifteen bucks, sadly
Soul Song, is a life guide book to learn from once, then read again and again to keep up with your life's journey. I like it as written reminder of what I can be and how I can grow to be the love and joy, that I'm meant to be. I was first sucked in by the scientific data and real life stories of personal growth. Then, I pulled out my stack sticky notes to mark the body/mind/soul exercises that I wanted to go back to. It is a book for both the seasoned metaphysical healer or someone just being introduced to the healing powers of love. It brings so much information together in one place. I love the hard core research and the "I really need to add this to my daily life" tips that are spread through the entire book.
