About the Author

I was born in the west Texas town of El Paso on the RioGrande. Growing up life at home was challenging to say the least. I wasn'tparticularly good at sports because of my small size so I spent most of my timeeither working on my creativity by daydreaming or creating intricate obstaclecourses. Maybe that's why I find Tough Mudders so appealing.

After six years in the United States Air Force as a memberof the 91st Security Police squadron at Minot, I worked for Toyotafor 15 years developing and delivering leadership programs. In 2011 afterwriting my first book (The A3 Workbook: Unlock Your Problem Solving Mind) Istarted my consulting company.

I attended college at Indiana Wesleyan University late inlife while working full-time. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor ofScience in Business Administration.

For fun, I study the martial arts. I have a black belt inKenpo Karate and I've studied four other styles. It's the love of martial artsand the fact that someone very close to me was raped when she was only 6-yearsold that I created the program Personal Power 4U.

I speak on the topics of Problem Solving, Storytelling In Businessand Leadership, and How to Create a Mind Blowing Customer Experiences. Iconduct my programs for corporations, conferences and associations.

I'm also a Certified World Class Speaking Coach. I'vecoached executives, Tedx speakers and entrepreneurs on how to createpresentations that make their audiences reflect, engage, act and laugh.

I'm passionate aboutworking with organizations to help them build leaders that Step Up, Stand Outand Inspire Action.
