I recommended it to a guy in my company that wants to learn SQL.
It has been a pleasure to work with and work through (actually, I've only done the first 31 problems so far). The problems are carefully thought out, and clearly expressed. I couldn't be more pleased with this book!
I would like to express my gratitude to YOU and to everyone around you who had contributed to the writing and the editing of this wonderful SQL book. This book is good both for people who don't know anything in SQL and to those who have intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL. The results of the queries in that book show how in depth the author's research had been. The simplicity of the presentation of the different query topics show how well the author master her craft. I had passed it down to someone who wanted to learn SQL while avoiding the intimidating approaches used in other SQL books and that book happens to meet that other person's expectations completely. Me, personally, as an advanced SQL user (I have to write a lot of SQL to get data for reports), I find this book very delightful to read and the exercises easy on the mind to do. I would like to congratulate you wholeheartedly along with everyone who had participated in this book project. As they say in french for a job well done ( which is the case of that book) : BRAVO!!!
