I wish it were true, but SQL is a very rich language, and you owe it to yourself to buy a book that shows you how to write effective, efficient SQL. Most of the other books either show you just enough of the language to be dangerous, or go into far too much detail, making it hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. This book is different because it teaches everything you need to know about the SQL language with just the right amount of narrative, examples, and exercises. Whichever book you choose, good luck on your SQL journey. Cheers, Alan Beaulieu
