I am still using 3 inhalers. One was the normal rescue type (Albuterol), one is Symbicort and the other is Tiotropium, a capsule that is punctured and then inhaled through a special inhaler.
I am to use the rescue when needed, Symbicort 2X per day and the Tiotropium once a day, all as directed. After 3 years I am doing the same physically as I was when first treated. I felt like I was not gaining on my goal of breathing more easily. Even though I still follow the Doctors orders and take my meds as prescribed I feel that I am doing better after adding the salt into my daily routine of med taking. I will find out for sure at my next Dr. appointment when the Dr. listens to my lungs. I am sure they will sound more clear than they have the past few years.
I have been using the Himalayan Inhaler as a supplement to the prescription meds at least once, sometimes twice per day for up to 30 minutes but no less than 20. I use it while reading, watching TV, driving and just about anytime I feel like it. There is nothing about this product that smells or would cause others in the room to have a problem or concern, like second hand smoke would.
I have noticed a big difference in my breathing throughout the day as well as when I sleep (less or no snoring and I wake up a bit more rested). I find that I can walk a longer distance, perform more physical labor and breathe ALL day much, much easier.Read more ›

I am not sure what the hype is, I did not get the great results as the other reviewers did. I had my kid sit and use it for several days, getting no better. Read morePublished 3 months ago by L. Matthews
I am not sold on this product. I thought I would try it. For me, I found inhaling a lot of salt residue (if you will) caused H2O retention. I did follow the instructions.Published 4 months ago by Katherine R
