This is the real deal. I read other reviews and was worried that this wasn’t going to have the warranty and all. Let me assure you it does. As you see in the pictures this is from the US. Everything is great I mean it’s fluke why wouldn’t it be. Does not come with a case which was disappointing but I already ordered a hard case so no biggie. Another down fall is the leads that came with the meter. This is my third fluke and I have still yet to get a good pair of test leads with it. They are real stiff. I don’t understand how and why a company like fluke sends such crappy leads with the meters. Come on fluke. The meter is high quality. The leads should be too.

I have had many electrical meters during the course of my career. I have had several Fluke meters that were provided to me by my employer. I purchased this meter personally and I was impressed with the size of the Display. It is large enough to see it clearly. This becomes more important as my eyesight diminishes. It has a very solid feel when turning the selector dial. This meter has a rating of 1000 V CAT11 and 600V Cat111 . I don't know how long it will last . I will update this post in a year or two. It has all the features that I will use including calibration of 4-20 ma circuits. The only negative about this meter is that it only has a one year warranty. If you want a meter with a lifetime warranty from Fluke ,you will have to pay about double the cost of this meter.

I purchased this meter as a spare in July of 2020 from what I thought was the Fluke store here on Amazon. As it turns out this model is only intended to be sold in Asia and Fluke US will not even talk about it. And the vendor was anyone but Fluke turns out it was someone called Bugs Bunny. I don't know if they are a Fluke vendor, but I doubt it.

Since the meter spent most of its life in the drawer waiting for an emergency, I really haven't used it much until I had problems with my trusty Fluke 187.

I can tell you that the meter tends to be very slow registering ohms and volts and that my model fails completely on the cap check function. No registration at all.

Beware if you are in the US and expect to find help if you have a problem.
