This is a great product. I've seen other SSD enclosures that cost twice as much and don't even come with the USB cords. This comes with all the screws, thermal pads, and even a screwdriver for you to use. The metal casing makes it feel high quality, but the low price seals the deal.
I was able to transfer multiple TB of data between my old PC and my SSD for my new build in less than an hour thanks to this. No issues, instructions are very clear.

SSD needs to be fully inserted for working
If there is a fatal errors or SSD can not be recognized: First, Please confirm your SSD is M.2 PCIE NVME SSD. Second, please confirm whether your SSD is fully inserted into the NVME Slot. If not, you need to push the SSD into the PCIE NVME Slot at a 45 degree angle.The pins of the SSD will be fully seated and covered.

Copper Strip + Thermal Conductive Pad for Excellent Heat Dissipation
SSK Enclosure not only adopts the larger copper strip for heat dissipation, but also have a special design, it adds a plastic shrapnel which can lift SSD slightly. With the thermal pad, the lifted SSD can be tightly attached to the Aluminium shell, so as to achieve the purpose of rapid heat dissipation.

- Windows 7 or above, Mac OS 10.10.5 or above, Linux, and Type C Android Phones.
- Blue Indicator is always on when plug in, and flash when read or write data.
Installation Instructions
Attention:
1. It requires 2 screws and 1 washer to assemble the enclosure. When install the round washer to assemble SSD and PCB, please pay attention to the thickness of the washer, it has two directions, please keep upper thin and bottom thick. When insert the pcb to house casing, as it is shrapnel design, pls press down the PCB slightly to ensure the proper insertion.
2. After installed, when the first time to use the new SSD, it may not be found, please partition and format it first under disk management, then it can be used normally. If want to work on both Mac and Windows OS, please format it to EXFAT.
3. Pless kindly noted our item work well on all brands M.2 NVME PCIe and SATA NGFF 2242, 2260, 2280mm SSD up to 4TB including Intel 600p, 660p, Sumsung, WD, Crucial etc.
- Not compatible with MacBook original SSD!
4. Due to the transmission speed is extreme fast for nvme ssd, the temperature is relatively higher than USB3.0 HDD, but beause of our unique product design, the whole SSD case can be worked as the thermal pad, it can repidly dissipate the heat and protect the SSD. Please let us know and we will reply asap and give you a happy solution.

Works With NVME SATA SSD
Had an old 2TB NVME SATA SSD that I wanted to use with my new Mac Mini M4 to store my large photo library. This little gem worked perfectly.I had previously ordered the very similar SABRENT USB 3.2 Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs. That did not work perfectly. It was very slow to connect, unmounted and mounted frequently. Read/write speeds were inconsistent and slow. Not sure if it was the enclose or cable, but I returned it.This SSK enclosure handles everything I throw at it every time. It's never unmounted or choked on even very large video files.I took off one star for the über fiddly way the designers chose to secure the card to the enclosure. If for some reason you need to install and remove cards frequently, this enclosure is not for you. It's way too complicated when it doesn't need to be. That's the only thing the Sabrent enclosure had going for it. Otherwise once the card is inserted and locked down, it's out of sight, out of mind and just works.Recommended!
