HEAT YOUR POOL - Solar Sun Rings are passive solar swimming pool heating devices, constructed from two layers of U.V. resistant vinyl. The upper clear layer directs the suns rays onto the bottom blue layer which absorbs about 50% of the sunlight, converting it to heat. The remaining sunlight filters through the ring into your pool water.
WARMING DISCS - The majority of heat loss from a pool comes from the water surface at night. Solar Sun Rings do not cover the entire surface of your pool; therefore it allows heat to escape. To help keep the warm water in your pool at night we recommend you use additional insulation such as solar fish or a solar blanket.
WHAT'S INCLUDED - Each unit contains 6 magnets that are used to attach the rings together. Do not over inflate. Do not use as a flotation device.
SOLAR ACTIVATED - Use the Solar Sun Rings to provide heat to your swimming pool from the sun. Swim comfortably without wasting energy
PLEASE NOTE - These Solar Sun Rings are NOT a solar cover or a replacement for a solar cover. These are floating disc heating devices.

What are Solar Sun Rings? The Solar Sun Ring is a passive solar swimming pool heating device made from two sheets of heavyweight U.V. resistant vinyl. The upper clear layer holds insulating air and focuses sunlight on the blue colored lower layer. The blue layer absorbs about 50% of the sunlight and converts it to heat. The balance of the sunlight is allowed to pass through for deep water heating.How Do Solar Sun Rings Work? At night the contained air acts as an insulating blanket to retain heat gained during daylight. Solar Sun Rings are equipped with six magnets to improve clarity and decrease hardness of the water in your pool. The magnets are positioned to facilitate rafting. The strength of the magnets will permit single position removal but will easily separate to prevent entrapment in accidental falls.Solar Sun Rings were designed to be compatible with automatic pool cleaners. In the event the suction hose catches on a ring, the ring will separate from the raft to allow the pool cleaner to continue. Neither water nor pool chemicals can evaporate through the Solar Sun Rings two layers of heavyweight vinyl. You will save water and chemicals about equal to the percentage of the surface covered. Once the water in your pool has reached adequate temperature, Solar Sun Rings may be turned over to conserve water by limiting evaporation without significantly heating the water.How Many Solar Sun Rings Do I Need? Cheap Cheap Cheap Do not buy. Made of cheap plastic. Half have already had a hole in the ring. Reminds of the thin plastic rings that litte kids float in. Plastic is much too thin. Should have known when each ring is packaged with repair patch.

I would not recommend these panels. I placed three circles in my very small pool and after days of use could not see any difference in the temperture of the water. I live in Arizona where sunshine is mostly available and the days are hot. My pool water temperture is cold. Very disappointed to waste my hard earned money on this product.

These work great for the size of my pool could have used 1 more but went with 3..Helps the pool stay a few degrees warmer as we all have solar heating ..so it helps ..yes KEEP on top of them with dirt and other stuff on them take them out rinse them and keep them clean..only been a few months so we will see :-)

These bad boys raised the temp 1 degree per day. Once it got warm enough I put them away. I wasn’t sure 3 rings would warm my 20,000 gallon pool but they did the job. Don’t lay them on grass, they will burn a hole in 5 mins or less

I want to believe that these worked but I can't say for sure. When I got them the temperature in my area jumped to the 100's so that could have warmed the pool or these thingys could have been the reason! They were used all summer and are still in great shape. Make sure you read the instructions on how to inflate them (my husband didn't and I ended up getting soaked trying to deflate them) as they take VERY little air. I wish they came in single packs becuase i really could have used 4 but definitely cannot use 6!

As in the description this product does work reasonably well. It managed to increase the temperature in our jacuzzi a few degrees. When using a few of them in the pool the temperature increase is less noticeable. For the price point I think an actual pool/jacuzzi cover would be cheaper and do as well if not a slightly better job. When inflating the product when the instructions say a few breaths is enough they mean it. It is extremely easy to over inflate this product which causes it to not lay flat. No clue why it was designed this way. Probably has to do with saving on material costs. Overall this product does work to some extent. If you keep your expectations realistic then you won't be disappointed. This product will help increase water temps a few degrees at most. I won't be buying more of them or replacing them when they get old. I'll probably just buy a solar cover when these need replacing.

I bought six of these and did not feel any difference in water temperature. In fact, just when I bought them, it started to get cool and night and the pool water got really cold. I bought six more, to cover the 80% of the pool that is recommended and still found that they did not help. I am going to return the six I am still eligible to return. But I am quite disappointed. One thing they do is catch some of the dust and leaves that might otherwise blow into the pool. But I would not have paid so much money for that!
They are quite easy to use, and appealing for that reason. (I did not want to have to pull a plastic cover the whole way over the pool all the time)
