Arrived 11/20/17, I immediately plugged it in to charge per instructions (you must charge for 12 hours upon arrival). The unit WILL NOT HOLD A CHARGE. I logged into Amazon to start the return process only to find out Amazon WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURN OF THIS ITEM BECAUSE OF ITS WEIGHT.. Congratulations! You just gave Stanley Tool a $60 Christmas present. This item was heavily advertised for the Black Friday Deals and it's a great deal for Stanley Tools and Amazon because they just took $60 from you and you have a 25 pound paperweight. DON'T BUY THIS!!!

Charged the Jumpit for 40 hours, like the instructions said. Tried to jump a Nissan Sentra 1.8l...It didn't work. Recharged Jumpit. Tried to jump 3 different 4cyl cars over a week long period. It wouldn't start ONE....not even CLOSE to being able to start any of them. Says it can jump V8's...I doubt it. I was able to start ALL of the vehicles with regular jumper cables and a Honda I4 and Nissan V6. Just a HORRIBLE product that doesn't do what it advertises. I have tried to get a refund, but they seem to run you circles.

Preferred Alternative to Jumper Cables

Purchased this unit about a year ago and it paid off this past week. While visiting Glacier National Park my in-laws rental car (a 2017 Ford Expedition) had issues starting all week. Rather than going through the hassle of moving my truck face-to-face with their car to use traditional jumper cables I simply popped the hood and jumped it. We got about 4 jumps off of one charge, but I still recommend charging every time you use it, or every 30 days as instructed in the manual. My father-in-law bought one when he got home from the trip.

Additionally I have used the compressor several times in a pinch on both my F-150 and Honda Civic. It is a great tool and I highly recommend this product.

One tip, the compressor switch must be completely off to charge the unit. I had an issue with this as I thought it stopped charging, but the the switch was just slightly moved from the "off" position. After discovering the issue the unit had no trouble charging back up.

Works but tire inflator top broke off and unable to fix

Works well. It is a bit noisy, though. It has helped in both inflating a number of tires and jump starting my car and some neighborhood cars. Now, after about 2 years of normal use, the top part of the tire inflator has broken off. I looked in home depot for a replacement, nothing seems compatible. I don't want to trash it since it is otherwise working fine.
Please help in providing some suggestions/feedback on how to fix this.

Waste of money- this car jumper does not fully charge(reach the green light) and even l left it over 12 hr charging. This item is defective- l bought it because l have a week battery in my car and due to cold weather it needs to be jumped or car battery charged . This jumper is not serving that purpose.l just wasted my money.
I wanted to return it , however,this item is not eligible for return because of dangerous materials/ liquid ....!!!Actually l am surprised how they even shipped me this dangerous item without any special labels stating that ?!!!
I'm not sure how this is categorized as dangerous material is just a battery in this case a faulty battery?!

I bought this product based on reviews here on Amazon and only used the air compressor 5 or 6 times and now it is not working. It stays inside the house and I charge it once a month in case I need to use it. Never used the jump starter (now I am wondering if that even works) and the air compressor has only been used to air up the tires on my riding lawn mower.

Unfortunately it has been over a year and Stanley won't warranty or repair it. So I have a $70 brick. I have a Sears air compressor that is over 10 years old that still works! Glad I didn't need to use it in an emergency. Definitely do not recommend!

Cons:
no 120V power plug
no trickle charging (need for replugging)
no bag/compartment for air compressor fittings

So far I've used it to pump up car&bike tires and sports balls, and to charge USB devices. The lack of trickle charging was the greatest bother for me, but I solved it by ordering the Stanley BC209 Battery Maintainer. I charge/maintain the jumpstarter through the 12V port, just leave it plugged in all the time. This setup is ideal for me because now I have both a jumpstarter/compressor/backup battery and a battery charger/maintainer. My wife drives only 5 minutes to/from work - insufficient to keep the battery fully charged - and I like to top it up
periodically.

I bought a sturdy little baggy for the compressor fittings and tied it to the handle.

*** update ***
After a few months of happily using this device, the air compressor gave out while I was inflating a bike tire. There was a snapping sound, a burnt rubber smell, and the motor spun empty. I contacted the seller and, without further communication, they sent out a replacement which arrived within two days. Their only request was to send back the original, which I did. The new unit is the same as the first, however with a different attachment on the compressor hose. The first had a quick-clamp, and this one has a screw on design. More cumbersome for tires, more sturdy for the various attachments for balls, mattresses, etc. An inconvenience, yes, but I am none the less grateful for prompt and hassle free service.
