In order to get it working on the Raspberry Pi 3, you would have to format and reinstall the OS.**

Id suggest getting these over a blank one any day. It's easy to load sure and it's fine to do that, but this is just so convenient. Pop them in, and just go. They're not preloaded with garbage so you have space and it's just a good work around if you're in a hurry.
