5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and Good Performance
By Allen on December 4, 2019
I recently bought a few new paddles to try out -- all in the same price range. Of the three, I found I really liked the light weight and performance of the Stiga Titan.

Weight -- I found it challenging to find consistent info online regarding paddle weights, so see attached photos for reference. The Titan is well under 5 Oz, while my Butterfly Timo Boll 1000 is 6 oz, and my Killerspin Jet200 is over 6.5 oz. While playing, when I switch paddles, I can definitely tell the difference. I like the lighter feel, I think it helps my reaction time slightly. At first I thought it might be "too light", but I've been playing the best with the Stiga, so that hasn't been an issue for me.

Power -- The Stiga Titan and Butterfly Timo Boll seem to have similar 'power' -- they both are more defensive oriented vs. the Killerspin. I did a ball drop test on the paddles, and it confirmed this. The ball bounced quite a bit higher off of the Killerspin paddle than the other two, when dropped from equal height.

Spin -- I couldn't tell too much difference here -- all seemed good.

I see some reviewers had the Titan break. The wood does seem lighter duty than in the other two, so I'm hoping I don't have that issue. So far so good.
