From the Author
Over the years I have tried different approaches, and I've learned that some work better than others. In this book I summarize what I feel are the "take home lessons" that I've learned. This is the stuff I'd share with family and friends who want my best advice about how to invest. There are more difficult, more complex, and more time-intensive approaches to learning how to invest, but generally speaking, I have learned that the more active you are as an investor, the worse your results.
You don't have to trade a lot to do well, and extra IQ points actually don't help you when it comes to investing. You need a good temperament and you need to have a solid plan to get good results, and this book is my best effort to prepare you for a stress-free investing plan that's easy to set-up.
