I love these straws. Anything I can do to reduce my waste is worth it to me. Also, call me crazy, but I feel like my drinks actually taste better through glass (the same way glass-bottled Coke tastes better than in plastic.
I will say that I feel like I have to baby them, because they’re made of glass, but that’s probably just in my head. They feel pretty durable holding them.
Lastly, the cleaning brushes make them easy to clean, and because they’re clear, there’s no swcond guessing their cleanliness.

What a shame. I loved the concept of these straws as I am actively trying to make environmentally-friendly purchasing decisions. I used the straw for the first time, carefully placed it in my dishwasher in the cutlery basket, and it came out cracked on one end. The red color on the other end of the straw also mostly disappeared after a single wash. Attaching images to show what happened. I guess they aren’t as durable as described.EDIT: Added a star because this company's customer service is amazing. They responded to my review and immediately sent me a replacement. Based on the customer service alone, I would still consider purchasing other products by this company.

Not very durable unfortunately

I would have originally given this product 5 stars but since they aren't shatter proof as stated I have to give it 1. I did like everything thing else about them. The main reason I bought this product though was because they didn't break so defeats the purpose. It was less than 1ft drop onto a marble counter and broke.
