5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my toes from a 1,000lb loaded palletjack.
By Emiliano on February 26, 2021
I work at a tile manufacturer and after working 12 hours walking non stop and getting in slippery situations my caterpillar boots were wearing me out. I bought these hoping they would be lighter while still offering protection and it did just that. Today when I was at work I had a loaded electric palletjack. It was full of tiles the total weight is around 750-1000lbs. The saftey malfunctioned and I ran over half my foot with the wheels. Needless to say, my toes are just fine and the steel toe didn't even bend. Im glad it was the shoes that got ripped and not my feet!. Definetly lighter than steel toe boots at half the price its worth it. Also the soles haven't been punctured and I work around sharp shards of ceramic and nails. If you're tired of heavy steel toe boots this is definetly worth a buy. I ordered my regular size and it fit perfectly, the soles are kind of flimsy but i bought some for $10 and its much better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Work 12 hour shifts In steel toes, only with these
By Tonya, South Carolina on July 1, 2020
I’m done searching for the perfect pair of steel toe shoes. These are very comfortable from the first day. After working all night my feet don’t hurt at all. Lightweight and breathable. The quality is top notch they are made well. Worth the money. I even wear them working out in the yard. The first pair I will grab to put on. Needs new inserts though quality of insert padding not great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Work Shoe
By TBD on November 15, 2019
I work in a manufacturing plant doing Inventory Control and Purchasing, so my time is split between the office and the plant. I am required to wear a steel toe shoe while in the plant so I wanted something to comply with safety regulations but something that wasn't bulky and I could wear while out and about running errands after work. I like this particular model of the steel toe: 1) because it doesn't have traditional show strings which allow me to slip them on and off as I make my way in out of the plant 2) they have a slim, sleek profile look 3) they have a comfy sole. I purchased these in 7.5 originally, but had to return them for an 8. I normally wear a 7.5-8 shoe and normally purchase a wide shoe if I can. If you teeter between two sizes like me, I would go with the bigger size for this shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
By Jonathon Schienke on May 9, 2020
These are a game changer. Having something that not only looks professional, as in a professional Videographer, but to know that I can shoot a wedding, but not damage my toes, (trust me, it happens, I’ve done it before) is amazing. One time, I was in the car, climbing to the back to get equipment from the back of the vehicle during the pouring rain, wacked my foot off a metal light stand. My feet were in intensive pain all night. If I had these that day, it would have prevented that pain, I would have been more comfortable, and due to the non slip, I can trust my feet and trust I wouldn’t skip or fall on any surface. These shoes can honestly prevent a HUGE hospital bill, so think of it as insurance to wear them. I wouldn’t wear anything else on the job, and I will recommend these to everyone I work with. 5 out of 5 Stars.

The only con: I just wish they could have made these somewhat water resistant, I could give up less airflow for better water protection. But you can fix that and spray the shoes with a water repellant spray.

I guess the only other con, you can see a little adhesive on the shoes where the fabric meets the sole. From a distance, it’s not noticeable so I don’t mind it. If the extra adhesive is why the shoes can last longer, I’m ok with it being exposed slightly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not for slim feet. Runs a little large.
By RyceBall on March 22, 2022
Before I start this review, let it be known that I am writing it only after wearing it for 10ish minutes at home.

So I really want to like these shoes. Here are the pros and cons I've discovered thus far.

- very lightweight
- insane amount of grip on the soles
- plenty of room for the toes (unlike other steel/composit toe shoes)
- unlike most safety shoes, these ones appear to fit to size (no need to order large, unless you have skinny feet like me -- see cons below)

- as can be seen from photo #2, there is no back ankle support (where the shoe slipes inward toward the ankle after the heel)
- from photo #1, these shoes dont have tongues
- the two points above mean that the shoe can feel loose on your feet when lifting your foot up to walk (no material for the shoe to "hook" into your foot), especially so if your foot is skinny (and thus harder to lace)

Obviously, my cons would appear to outweigh my pros (at least for me), but, like I said, I really want to like these shoes. As such, since I can expense these to my employer, I will be wearing them at work for the week (~13 hours of standing for 4 days). At that point, I will either stick with what I have or order a smaller pair and donate these current shoes.

Update: I have now worn these shoes for a 13 hour shift. Here are my newer thoughts.
- The lack of a heel "back" makes my foot "flop" out everytime I move, but I grew used to it (my last work shoes were boots, so I had some bias) -- several days later, I now enjoy the fit
- I actually had to loosen my laces a tad throughout the night, but I still had to keep me "tight" to the point where I was still folding the shoes to create "tongues" where a normal shoe tongue would be
- The insoles of the shoes are certainly thin. At times I thought I was wearing converse due to how much I could feel the texture of the floor beneath me. I will be looking into getting a better pair on insoles for these shoes.
- Words cannot explain how light these shoes are. I feel like I am wearing regular fly-knit tennis shoes.

Update #2:
I just replaced the insoles with Superfeet Blue. Turns out their "women's size 6.5-8" is the EXACT same size as my shoes, of which I ordered a 7.5 in women's. So now we know that the shoes run large.
