They're alright, but they do not hold a candle to Gyokucho saws (which are similar prices- maybe slightly more on some models)
This Ryoba is okay but the crosscut teeth chip off really easily. I also own a dozuki and a kataba from Suizan and they're both complete garbage.
Suizan's build quality is just not up to par with their competitors.
If you plan on using the saw regularly definitely go with a Gyokucho. And if you're considering buying a dozuki from Suizan you should DEFINITELY go with a Gyokucho. There's no comparison.
The followings are my feeling about this saw after I use it:
・this saw is SHARP, really SHARP. It cuts so easily, and does not take much force to cut the full piece.
・With handle attached, so it is much easier to hold.
・The blades are removable, so it can be replaced with replacement ones
・Fine and precise cross cuts and rip cuts can be achieved in one saw
・The low cost makes cost performance extra high
I recommend this saw not only for professional woodworkers, but also for amateurs like me. I feel I become much more skilled at woodworking after using this one!
Update: Be sure to keep the blade oiled or it will rust. But still a great little saw.

This one will remain in my kit until I kill it, and I suspect that would be pretty fast with heavy use. But it's a great deal for the price. No regrets and probably very practical for a budget minded wood worker just looking to try it out or not spend a fortune on tools.
I took a star off because I found that extended use gave me a blister, so the handle could be better, and the thumb screw that holds the blade on to the handle worked itself loose through regular usage.
Overall I'm very happy with this saw. It's not for every job, but the jobs you need it for it will handle beautifully.
