    The quality is excellent for the price point. Easy to just plug and play, but also customizable to your liking.More than the product, though, I’d recommend the seller. The product arrived three days quicker than estimated, and in perfect condition. I purchased a preowned model and would have thought it was brand new. Zero imperfections on the unit itself, the box was in perfect condition, and of course the product operates exactly how you’d expect.

    Been using inexpensive subwoofers for years and always wondered what better ones sound like. Finally spent 3x cost of previous Klipsch 10” 150 watt unit. And wow it’s worth it! Klipsch unit was great value but I realize it was all boom with no punch or accuracy. SVS SB-1000 makes kick from bass drum sound like a rock concert and movie sound effects are as impressive. The app is really helpful too because you can listen to music or movie while adjusting settings. Gives instant feedback on what settings sound best. I couldn’t be happier with this subwoofer, which is exactly what most reviews say so no surprise there. I had also wondered if I should replace my front towers speakers or receiver instead, thinking maybe they were a bigger issue. They definitely were not, my system lacked true power and clarity at low end and the problem was the subwoofer. I don’t even want to use my inexpensive Klipsch subwoofer as a second unit because it will dilute the SVS unit! That’s how great it sounds.

    This subwoofer will immensely improve the bass of your audio setup. This was my first ever subwoofer purchase and it makes a huge difference to the enjoyability of music that has any amount of bass (I listen to pop and EDM tracks). I have the KEF LSX IIs on my desk, and I have the SVS SB-1000 Pro on the floor to the left of my legs. Because the bass is now handled by the subwoofer, my desk no longer has any vibrations at all from the KEF LSX IIs.

    I have heard reviewers saying other brands of subwoofers "integrate" better with your speakers. However, with my limited experience with subwoofers in mind, I don't feel like the subwoofer sticks out at all. I have it off to the side under my desk, but the bass sounds like it's coming directly out of the speakers. It doesn't sound like there's bass coming out from under the desk or anything like that. I am genuinely curious how a subwoofer can "integrate" better with speakers!

    Overall a very solid purchase I'm happy with. The app doesn't look the best, but it is simple and Just Works. Just make sure you have an RCA cable to connect your speakers and subwoofer!

    I am a big audio fan. I have had countless subwoofers. The SVS-1000SB is a solid choice. you get what you pay for, but in this case, you get a little more than you paid for in my opinion. it’s capable of producing very loud, very clear bass. I bought an open box one for 515$. I don’t think there is any way to get at-home quality bass for less. An incredible sub for the value. If you are looking for a sub that is ridiculously loud and have a bigger budget maybe look into the SVS-PC2000. You can get an open box one for 874$

    Coming from a 22 year-old Klipsch down-firing ported 12” sub. I’d upgraded all the other components in the last few years, so figured it was time for the sub. The older Klipsch had gotten loose and mushy, and didn’t sound great anymore (way too boomy, not a lot of definition).

    This new sub is great. It took about two weeks to break in, but puts out very tight, clean bass. Good definition in music, and movies have good punch. Recommend getting the rubber feet from SVS if you are placing on anything but carpet. I did have some rattle on my hard floors until I installed them; that went away with the new feet.

    Super nice clean bass, I use it for mainly music in my home office. Know it’s limitations and keep your expectations in check. To me, this not a great HT sub. I like massive drivers, ported boxes, and plenty of peak power for HT (I have Rythmik FV15HP for that if you think that bolsters my opinion. However, I do watch the occasional movie in my office and it’s quite adequate in this 2.1 setup. Love the SVS control app, it’s class leading. This sealed design is small, fits my room, and adds just the right amount of tasteful low-end needed to compliment my bookshelf speakers (especially for TV/Movie watching). Prices seem to keep going up and I understand the global situation, can’t blame SVS for that. It was definitely worth the price I paid a few months ago.     I was starting to have problems with one of them and then the second one too. There is a local stereo repair shop if you can believe that one still exists
    But they said it was too old to repair as parts were not available

    They also were old tech amps that drew 110 watts when turned on...which was all the time

    So decided to upgrade

    OMG after exhaustive research.....purchased one of these
    I thought if it was not enough to cover room I would buy another one

    Well the room is 22 by 22 with vaulted ceilings and this little guy does the job and more. Replaces two subs with class A amps with a class D that senses signal and turns on and off automatically. No hum whatsoever

    Worth every penny.

    My third subwoofer. These all have Chinese made amplifiers unless you are spending a lot more money. The problem is that they stay on constantly and tend to burn out. There is no on off switch on the app so if you want to turn the amp off you have to get to the back of the unit which is a pain.

    I really like this subwoofer. Being sealed makes its output sounds much closer to my other speakers which are also sealed. You can't tell that there is a subwoofer on my system but you do hear plenty of clean low frequency. The app is useful for adjusting the volume and the presets. You can use it to change from movie output to music output and adjust options such as the low pass filter.

    The black ash color looks decent. Save yourself the $100 for the black gloss finish.

    I'm very happy. Let's hope this unit lasts for a while.

    If you are looking at this sub its probably because, like me, you already gone through a Klipsch KSW10, a Polk PSW10, etc etc etc and are wondering what it takes to get ACTUALLY good bass instead of boomy trash and port chuff.

    This is it. This sub (without any fine tuning) is such an improvement its almost offensive. Its very tight, refined bass that goes ridiculously low. The 1K price tag seemed a little steep at first but its 100% worth it. Love the app too for quick adjustments from the listening position.

    This is incredible. It has added so much to my kef LS50s which were pretty damn good as they were! There are sounds that come out of this sub woofer that I have sincerely never heard before. Out of control good.

    I'm not a huge audiophile, but invested in this and the kefs and regret not doing it before. I genuinely think this is some of the best money I have ever spent.
