I read an online review that this was the second best rubber broom for sweeping up pet hair from low pile carpets. Since the highest rated product was no longer available I purchased this one. It barely does the job and not without a lot of effort. If you’re looking for something to save time and effort this is not the product.

My daughter asked if we could get a broom like we had many years ago. I looked on the internet and saw this one because it kind of looked like the old one. This broom is great !!! It's good for indoors and out and takes a lot of wear and tear. If you buy it, you'll love it, we do. The fact that its rubber makes it possible to clean up messes and then simply hose the broom and all the mess is gone. It's an all purpose broom, wet, dry, spills, etc. all get taken care of with very little strain.

It works, but it breaks

This broom really works well when sweeping dog fur off of a rug. However, you must pull the broom toward you when sweeping. If you push the broom, like on a rug, the base will break free from the handle. The problem with this broom, is where the base of the broom screws into the shaft for the handle. It is made of plastic and it will break. I've broken two of these brooms. I repaired them by modifying them. It they ever significantly strengthen this single fault, then I would give it 5 stars.
