The only thing I didn't like was the ending. Or at least one aspect of it:
Considering that TJ was infected, separating those infected from those who weren't meant that Ted and TJ couldn't be together. I know she chose to remain with the infected, and I can admire her decision to help others rather than stay with her husband aboard the Intrepid (which possibly couldn't happen anyway), but I would really love it if the author would write at least one more book resolving the issue of T-Gondii. Maybe come up with a cure? Or a partial cure, one that cures those who haven't completely succumbed to the Rage disease? Just my thoughts. Otherwise, I really loved this series. I look forward to Gary Tiedemann's reading of Parasitic and Symptomatic (can you tell from my reviews that I think he's an awesome reader? ;)).
Aboard Regal European's Intrepid Ted and T.J. Williams work with the uninfected of the crew and passengers as they try to survive on their floating isolation ward. Their greatest advantage (and a pretty big disadvantage) resided behind T.J.'s blood red irises. In her childhood, she had acquired the parasite from an animal attack. When she breathed the virus from a volcanic plume, she became symptomatic. Wearing sunglasses, a nose clip and skimpy, form fitting exercise clothes, T.J. is fine as long as she can keep her body temperature below 99°.
The parasite is real and has been around for a long time. The Madness could be possible. Your best defense is knowledge. Reading this trilogy is great survival tactics. So . . . read the MADNESS Chronicles it you wish to survive!

I was very reluctant to put the book down once started.
My inner self was crying run run as if I could help.
Great that no swear words were needed to express the story
Hoping to hear another book to follow what happens to all the characters in the very end
