Excellent stand for small space
5 Stars
Excellent stand for small space
We have a tiny living room and finally decided to upgrade to a flat panel TV in an attempt to make the room look bigger - but were having the hardest time finding a stand that didn't take up half the room. It took us a lot of searching before we found this one. The stand looks awesome, the colors blended in perfectly with our existing components (silver/gray), and it barely protrudes into our living room: MUCH smaller than our old entertainment center and because of its open design it makes the room look roomier than it is.When we first received it we were a bit concerned as well about the large base, it just looks huge out of the box, but once you put it all together you realize it isn't really that big and is only a few inches high anyways. There is ample space for our sub-woofer and plenty of components. The TV looks as if it was just an extension of the stand. Easy to put together, very solid construction, very sturdy. The center of the stand is your cable management system (its hollow) and while it is pretty big, it can get difficult pushing and pulling cords up and down if you have a lot of cords like us. Also, be sure to arrange all your cables into the stand BEFORE you mount the TV onto it; it will make your job much easier, then it's a simple matter of connecting them to your components.
