Juggling school, extracurriculars, and budding romance, our favorite teen heroes have it all under control. But when Rita Repulsa’s spies begin to infiltrate those close to the Rangers, Rita may have the deadliest weapon known to teens: high school drama. And don’t miss the debut of the enigmatic Ranger Slayer Collects issues 5-8.

About the Author

Ryan Parrott was born in Bakersfield, California, but spent the majority of his youth growing up in Las Vegas. Unlike many modern filmmakers, Ryan didn't immediately gravitate towards the medium, enrolling instead in the art program at the University of Nevada, Reno. But after being exposed to an abundance of new digital formats, he soon discovered that all his art projects shared a similar theme: Film. Transferring to Chapman University in the fall of 2000, Ryan hoped to make an immediate impact within the intimate film studies program. His first project, Ride, was the recipient of numerous awards and screened in over a dozen film festivals around the world, including the 2005 Cannes International Film Festival. His success didn't diminish as he wrote and collaborated on How to Cover-up the Death of your Best Friend, which received the award for best undergraduate film and culminated in producing and co-writing the short horror film, Husk, an official selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Upon graduation, Ryan directed his first feature film, Loaded, a low-budget independent action drama for Bulletproof Productions. After a short theatrical release, the film was distributed worldwide by Westlake Entertainment.

Dan Mora is an artist whose work includes Buffyverse comics from Boom! Studios.

Another great volume from Boom! Studios. This series is so good. It keeps the "learning a message" arc feel of the original tv series, but extends the arc to a whole volume instead of 30 minutes of children's action tv. This gives more depth to the characters and really lets them shine. The personality traits merely hinted at in the show are given room to grow.

This volume features a prom. Seeing the rangers and other Angel Grove teens pair up is fun. I am all about this potential Trini and Jason future pairing. Matthew is a big focus of this volume. He's not the only original character for the comic that I want to see more of. Violet is introduced as a shy, nerdy love interest for Zack.

The continuity in these new comics is so great. Especially for a series known for very loose continuity and canon. Billy's interaction with Promethea!!!

The rangers training with their zords is so cinematic. I love the art in this book. The rangers discovering the hidden powers of each of their individual zords is awesome.

In each issue, we get a little glimpse of Rita assembling her squad over the years. I like how even Rita's character is getting fleshed out. Her obsession with loyalty. Baboo and Squatt each get their moments.

There is in-universe Power Rangers merchandise!

At the end of this volume, there's a Shattered Grid tease. I am so ready for this epic event to start! I usually wait to read the compiled volumes, but I may have got a few single Shattered Grid issues.

I give this second volume in Go Go Power Rangers a 5/5! Parrott is doing a wonderful job with this series. If you haven't started these comics, you need to!

I love this book. This volume continues the quality of the first. Dan Mora is an incredible artist who does some of his best work on this book. I love how this book focuses more on the personal and school lives of the Rangers. I think I may like it even more than the other Power Rangers book. You should definitely read it. It is an absolute necessity for Power Rangers fans.

I wish I had read these back when I read the other volumes these tie in with. Things might have made more sense, if I had.

Fabulous collection

Consists of the second set of four comics from Go Go Power Rangers. Not as much action, but it really gets into the lives and feelings of the rangers much more than the series or most other comics. Really love the art and character designs in this.

Don't expect collectors condition greatness.

Item stickers (warehouse UPC/LPN) placed on it were the biggest disappointment.
Warehouse care is seen with scrapes. No tears on this book.

Wonderful volume 2 and really brings out the side affects of beings a power ranger. A first hit to the team in psychological and emotion way with this enemy and excellent origin stories for other characters such as goldar. Highly recommended

Nostalgia got me into this series, but the character-centric narrative kept me going. When you go back and watch the first season of Power Rangers, you realise that it really does just consist of monster-of-the-week problems with some kind of lesson attached. This series deals with the Rangers as proper people, with both ups and downs, beliefs and doubts, and it's all the more wonderful for it. It gives new depth to villains like Rita and her minions too, makes them far less cartoonishly evil, again to very positive effect.
