Editorial Reviews

Review

“It’s a true art to travel beyond the veil and bring back coherent information for the rest of us to learn from and that will help us in our personal search for higher states of consciousness” (Rhasya Poe, Lotus Guide, July 2011)

“Chris Hardy is one of the most intrepid explorers of the frontiers of consciousness. The Sacred Network provides its readers with a blueprint for their development both as individuals and as members of the human species.” (Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., professor of psychology, Saybrook University, and coauthor of Personal Myth)

“A scientist mind meets a visionary sage in author Chris Hardy. She foresees our individual souls weaving networks that will connect all over the world. One of the most creative and original books of our times.” (Allan Combs, professor of transformative studies, California Institute of Integral Studies, and coed)

“Few among us are willing to follow our thoughts and intuitions until they bloom with discovery. Chris Hardy has devoted her life to finding out what lies beyond the veil and bringing it back to us so that we might share in her vision. The Sacred Network is nothing less than fascinating.” (Linda Dennard, Ph.D., associate professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Auburn U)

“Chris Hardy has been exploring the complex relationship between mind and matter over her entire career as a researcher and consciousness explorer. Now, with The Sacred Network, she’s provided the definitive work on ley lines and other physical locations of power and their relationship to the psyche.” (Robin Robertson, Ph.D., clinical psychologist, associate professor at the California Institute of In)

First marked by the standing stones of our megalithic ancestors, the world’s sacred sites are not only places of spiritual energy but also hubs of cosmic energy and earthly energy. Generation upon generation has recognized the power of these sites, with the result that each dominant culture builds their religious structures on the same spots--the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, for example, was constructed over a temple to Diana that in turn had been built over a stone pillar worshipped by the Gauls.

In The Sacred Network, Chris Hardy shows how the world’s sacred sites coincide with the intersections of energetic waves from the earth’s geomagnetic field and how--via their megaliths, temples, and steeples--these sites act as antennae for the energies of the cosmos. Delving deeply into Paris’s sacred network, she also explores the intricate geometrical patterns created by the alignments of churches and monuments, such as pentagrams and Stars of David. Revealing that consciousness is a tangible energy, she explains how the sacred network is fueling an 8,000-year evolutionary cycle initiated by our megalithic ancestors that will soon culminate in a new state of shared consciousness for humanity.

CHRIS H. HARDY, Ph.D., a former researcher at Psychophysical Research Laboratories in Princeton, has spent many years investigating psi capacities, altered states of consciousness, and the mind at large. She has authored 17 published books, including Networks of Meaning. She lives in France.

The beauty in this book lies in the fact that the author has personally experienced strong energetics of different frequencies and explains how she does it, what the energies are shaped like and the physics behind them. She maps out a place in France that has the energetics and what buildings and places are included with diagrams explaining it all. You won't get an entire map of the world but you will get an indepth explanation of the actual physics behind leyline energetics and a detailed personal experience that you may be able to tap into and experience on your own.

This has the writer's experiences, so if you looking to understand what they saw and how they came to their conclusions on energy grids in the earth, great, but not a lot of descriptions around what really makes these things work. Though to be fair, I might have missed it. It was incredibly, and overly, detailed while I really was looking for better descriptions and/or definitions of what the different energies were. As an example, after reading (and lots of skimming) this book, I could not tell you what a ley line is. I know what the author SAW, but that's their experience.

I couldn't possibly be more interested in this subject. I looked forward to its arrival! What a disappointment - This book is so dryly written, its hard to read hard to read, even for the choir.

This exploration of grids, lay lines and energy centers helped expand my brain to include other realities. Her attention to detail helps center an other worldly venue.
