But overall I found the book to be amazing, I love the premise of this whole series, and I can't wait to find out what happens next! I hope Braedyn gets to meet her mother, or if she has been killed, she gets to find out more about her and her history! Also I hope she "grows" into her powers more. I feel like she is much more powerful than even you have explained in the books yet, and I would love to see her tap into that, and also unleash some of that during a fight. It seems like she is seriously gifted since she can seem to read minds at times like Ais did (which I don't think she's told anybody about), she can bend time, she was able to copy Seth's work at shielding someone's dreams (although I still fear Seth will know how to break it since he created it...), and I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but I just feel she has this amazing power she has not yet tapped yet! I am sick of seeing little girls with power who never fully unleash it. Sure I get she doesn't want to give into the demon side of herself, but I think she can tap into at least some of it to find out how to use it for good and not evil...
A teen finds out she isn't who or what she thinks she is, Her Loving father, not her real Dad?? Then suddenly she find there is an entire faction that want her dead, and yea keep up those High School grades and drama... A boyfriend That HATES her kind, yet loves her? The Cheerleader Drama queen who becomes a ally and then enemy then ally again? Add in supernatural demons and military type force determine to deal with her or kill her. The trust of an Angel, and the soul of a small child . Top it with another just like her that was the first trial of the experiment her 'Dad' has raised her under who tries to get her out, but keeps helping her when needed. When the demons can be trusted more then the humans then something is wacky, or is the human a demon in control of a human mind?
The 4 books work and flow well between them and I would love the author to consider coming back in a 5 year gap to pick it up and carry on the story for both the small child's view of who family is, how has the leadership change effected the war they are fighting, does love prevail?
Jennifer Quintez writes a series you don't stop and review book one and then think about reading book 2 someday, no you get back online and grab it as soon as you finish.. take my word for it save yourself the longon at 3 am and just buy them all now..
