I probably should have been suspicious after looking at all the pictures with happy dads and their kids on the homepage of this company. And if I would have payed attention, I would have seen that the carrier goes across the chest in a spot that is bound to be uncomfortable for women. And so it is, I have to close this thing directly over my breasts which makes it quite uncomfortable. I assume that for women with a bigger bust (or even worse, nursing moms!) this would be even more of a problem, so be aware of this.
Also, I find the saddle hurts my neck, and I cannot tighten the connection straps so much that it does not slip backwards when my daughter is sitting on it. That makes it feel very unsafe for me.
Last but not least, my daughter is not happy with the cuffs around her legs. She gets panicky when I close them. I am hoping that she will get used to this with time, though.
In conclusion, I will be trying to use this without the saddle. I got this on zulily so it is not such a big waste of money as if I had bought it for the regular price but even for half the price I think there are better carrier options out there. Nice idea, bad execution.

I hope someone creates a usable version of this product. Great idea, good looking product, poor implementation.

It looks good. It is too small for me, and I'm only 5'8 150lbs. My daughter is 2 and weights 30lbs.

It pulls my head forward, I am more comfortable without the device. The straps are far more complicated than need be, takes about 5 minutes to put it on. tangles to a mess when sitting on a shelf.

Design suggestions:
have the strap attach lower than just under my arm pits, or have adjustable height.
Have the seat further back.
Have the foot straps be adjustable for height.
Think about how to make putting this thing on easier. (maybe slide over my head and tighten it down?
Use some more tame colors to make us look less silly.

Use an average sized man in your product photos.

To make matters worse, they said that my Christmas gift was too late to return (Less than 90 days, only worn once), so this thing collects dust on a shelf to remind me of the $90 wasted on it.

The video of this carrier was all over facebook and as soon as my husband saw this carrier, he wanted it right away. This is two separate pieces. My daughter is very large for her size, but she is only a little over a year old, so she does not fit onto the orange saddle. We only have used the leg straps on her. My husband is very large. He is over six feet tall with broad shoulders and a broad back. He has carried her on his shoulders for months now. She has a very strong core.

If you are not a man that would normally carry your child onto your shoulders, this child carrier is not for you. I doubt that many women could even use this carrier. This carrier is very well made. It is very simple to use and you can use just the leg straps or you can use the saddle with it also. If your child does not have a strong core, this carrier is not for you.

We bought this carrier because my daughter loves to ride on my husband's shoulders but his neck and shoulders hurt after wearing her for only ten minutes or so on his shoulders. Now he can put her on his shoulders and we can walk around for extended periods of time without any issues.

I have a 34% height 2 year old boy- not THAT short, and his feet will not fit in this. Legs are not long enough. Hopefully we can use it as he gets taller.

Used it 7 times and one of the strap broke. Love the product but the the quality of the sewing it's far from acceptable. The embossed logo on the saddle is classy but on the back looks cheap and unnecessary.

I got this to replace a Kelty backpack that I carried my daughter in *everywhere* right up until she was bumping up against the weight limit. This hasn't seen nearly as much use, though, because adjusting it is an absolute disaster.

For starters, the strap around the chest is barely big enough for me. (I wear a 40R jacket.) Bigger men, or women with bigger bust, will simply not be able to wear this, full stop. (I imagine wearing this would be too painful for many women anyway, since it cinches right around the bust.)

Secondly, the height of the ankle straps is not adjustable. My daughter at 2 1/2 was too short to use this at all, even though she could ride on my shoulders just fine. At 3 (and over 3 feet tall) her legs are still too short to ride comfortably -- my head is forced too far forward, and my neck hurts like crazy before too long. As her legs grow I think this will get better, but for now even the included saddle just makes it worse.

Finally, the ankle closures are just stupid. Even when my daughter was still too short to ride in the saddle, the straps were too short without using the included extenders. (I.e., her legs were too short to use the product, but already too girthy. What bean pole kid did they test this on?) But the extenders make them too long to be of any use. I know these people have heard of adjustable straps, so I don't understand why the ankle straps aren't also adjustable. The velcro closure works -- for now -- but it's not exactly roomy.

If you're a man with a strikingly normal-sized chest and have a kid with long, skinny legs, then this might work great. I keep trying it, hoping that one or both of us will have grown into it, but I keep getting a horrible crick in my neck. A+ idea, C- execution.
