Bernard goes into his interview with the high-class law firm expecting the worst, or what he would have considered the worst. After scarping by law school, he couldn't understand why the firm would even accept his application, let alone accept him for a job with a starting salary of $100k plus expenses. He expected the quick boot, but instead he found out that they had much more sinister plans for him, which involved his relocation to the corrupt Africa and he gets caught up in his companies sinister schemes, which eventually lead him on his own personal Safari to Hell.
Follow Bernard in this extremely well written journey. The author does an amazing job catching and keeping you attention. What an EXCELLENT read!
The young lawyer ends up in Africa, not really knowing what he is doing, but he is being paid handsomely.
You really start to feel for him as he gets embroiled in some difficult situations, and you feel his helplessness in a foreign land.
With most thrillers,it is possible to work out what is likely to happen, but with this I couldn't see what was coming.
A thoroughly enjoyable read.
The plot is well developed and pulled off with skill and style. I recommend this book for thriller enthusiasts.
To say that strange things happen to him is a tremendous understatement. Though there are some who will claim that they are only what a lawyer deserves.
The action, suspense and stress are unrelenting. This book will keep you up at night. Recommended.

This book, I wanted so bad to like it. I enjoyed the premise of the book.Read more
Perhaps the title should be an innocent abroad, as that about sums it up, however that does the story a disservice.Read more
