This is a great desk. It was easy to put together and very well built. It is a lot more sturdy than other assemble-it-yourself furniture I've bought over the years. The adjustment works well, too; although I would highly recommend taking everything off the desk before doing so. My wife is using this in combination with Safco 1929CY Adjustable Height Stand-Up Workstation, 29w x 19-3/4d x 49h, Cherry PVC Top as a standing workstation. I built a small platform to put under this workstation (it doesn't adjust to as tall of a height) to raise it to the height of the other desk and they work great together. Also, my wife uses Black Fabric and Mesh and Mesh Drafting Stool with Arms - WL-A7671SYG-BK-AD-GG when she is tired of standing. It raises to a good enough height to sit at the tall desk and type, even though the tall desk is adjusted to nearly the tallest height.

Here's the caveat: If you order this, immediately contact the seller and request additional packaging with extra padding. The first desk arrived with the larger desktop piece damaged. The seller was AWESOME and sent me another desk right away. Unfortunately, it also damaged. Again, the seller was great. I requested extra padding and packaging, which they provided, and the third desk arrived in great shape. So, not the best experience, but worth it in the end because the seller provided top-notch customer service (Thanks, Ian!).

This desk is a great deal. Set up takes around 1 hour, but once put together it looks great and works very well. The black and "woodsy" colors are pleasing to the eye and the lockable wheels on the bottom make it easy to transport around the office. The work surface is nicely sized: large, but not too large.

The only problem I have with this desk is that I bought it as a stand up desk, but it is not tall enough for that (at least for me). I am 6'1" and this desk is about 4 inches too low for me (at its highest setting). Now, I'll fix this by putting a couple of wood/concrete bricks underneath the desk legs and lifting it up this way. I won't be as mobile, but it gets the job done.

That being said, this I believe is one of the best deals for someone looking for a stand up desk (SUD). Most of the other SUDs I found here were a)more expensive and b)had a small workspace. Also, if you're about average height this will work very well for your out of the box. Three thumbs up!

EDIT: I got this desk for a lot cheaper than it is now. At the current price... Ouch!

I never thought finding a stand-up desk would be so hard to find but apparently it is. Bought this one a few weeks ago because it had solid reviews. However, when the shipment arrived, the tabletop was dented in several places and one corner was smashed. In general, the desk is functional but the height is not as adjustable as the description makes it. I'm 5'6" but I had to use a big wooden box to elevate my monitor to be eye level. Also, the desk itself is not very sturdy. I have a dot matrix printer on one of the shelves and when it starts printing, the entire desk starts shaking back and forth. Also, the height adjustments aren't very good. If you don't turn the clamps hard (I mean really hard), the desktop slips and becomes uneven. Then you end up micro-adjusting each leg to try to get it to be even. I thought it would have some sort of peg system so that if you moved the table up, all four legs could easily be moved up together. In the end, I had to break-out a level to try to make it remotely even. But, I suspect that over time, one of the legs will get pushed down slightly (due to daily usage) and then the desktop will be uneven again.

Overall, the design is OK nothing spectacular but it shouldn't be $400+ in price. It's more of a $200 standup desk. I'm sure you can find better quality stand-up desks in your area. I couldn't in mine so I had to settle for this one. One more thing, I got the Oak top finish but it kind of looks cheap. I should have gone with the cherry or natural color instead.
