Anything heavy moved on these dollies must have the weight transferred to the outer edges. Center loading this dolley is a recipe for disaster. I ended up putting pieces of plywood the same size as the dolley under the boxes of books that I move on it, and that solved the problem, but I wish I had known this before buying.
A small re-design by the manufacturer and a few cents more plastic to reinforce this item to hold the stated weight standards would be in order.
A feature I find particularly useful is the bright yellow, heavy-duty, nylon pull rope. It makes it possible to move boxes (carefully) without strapping them down. It's a bit tricky to control the loaded dolly with just the rope, but you learn quickly enough. A word of caution: the pull rope can be a trip hazard, if you don't pay attention to where you drop it--I learned the hard way!
The dolly is lightweight, and very easy to carry with the built-in handle. It stores standing upright on one end, and takes up little garage space. The 220-lb. capacity is more than adequate for me, because I try to keep shipping boxes and local store purchases under 50 lbs. total weight.
