Safer Brand Houseplant Sticky Stakes
Easily Save Your Houseplants from Infestations
Safer Brand Houseplant Sticky Stakes are a simple and convenient solution for flying insects that attack your houseplants. These easy-to-use stakes attract and trap flying insects from inside your potted plants, preventing damage and reproduction. Just peel apart the traps, insert them into the adjustable stakes, and place at the base of your plant to start trapping insects immediately. These stakes are great for whiteflies, fungus gnats, blackflies, thrips, fruit flies, midges and more.
All-Natural and Chemical-Free
Safer Brand Houseplant Sticky Stakes are not only effective and convenient, but they’re safe to use in and around your home as a great alternative to chemicals or poisons.
How They Work
- Stakes are placed directly into indoor and outdoor houseplants.
- The yellow color of the traps, as well as the glue, attracts flying insects from in your plants.
- Insects become trapped in the glue.
- Trapping adults reduces infestations and breaks the breeding cycle.
Trap Insects in Three Simple Steps
Assemble the Stakes
Mount the sticks to your preferred length, and peel apart the yellow traps to expose the glue. Attach the desired amount of traps onto the stakes, as shown above.
Insert into Potted Plants
Insert the stakes into the soil, and give your plant a shake to release hidden insects so they fly onto the trap(s).
Discard Traps When Full
After trapping the insects, simply remove the traps from the stakes, and wrap them in newspaper to discard them. Reuse the stakes when you wish to trap more insects.

I placed these into the soil and kept them very close to the soil (at times putting it at angle to make sure the top one is also close to the soil). I replaced them every 2-3 days where they were FULL of the little flies. Within 2 weeks of constant replacing i was rid of them. My wife is happy, i am happy, and my plant is happy.
These things are very sticky so try to not get them on your fingers or get any soil on them. I got rid of my annoying gnats and still have some left over so i am one happy customer. Good luck to you all who are trying to get rid of these pests.
