Having had a Safety 1st booster seat previously, this was my first choice. Easy to clean, easy to use, and comfortable for the kiddos. Can be used with tray or without and they include a plug for the tray hole so if you're not using it the kids can't put food in the hole. The belts attach securely to the chair and the kid. My 20 pounder couldn't jar it loose or tip it over. Surfaces are smooth and wipe off easily and tray is easy to remove and clean. I do it 3-5 times a day. I have two and the trays are easily interchangeable. The size is good for toddlers and when they get older, they will fit easily at the table, too.

We use this seat as a booster seat for our two-year-old who can sit at the table. She had the Fisher Price Space Saver which we will now be using for her little sister who is due in a few weeks. This is an okay chair, but I have three complaints.

1. It's light weight and highly portable. However, my two complaints are that it does not secure sturdily. If I had a wiggly child or a child that tries to get out of seats, I would not recommend this as they will probably fall taking the booster seat and chair with them.

2. The tray is a SNACK tray, meaning that a child's plate will not sit on this tray, so if you're not letting them eat at the table, you'll have to put the food directly on the tray. Only a bowl or cup will fit on the tray. So in my opinion, it's not meant to replace a high chair, and the tray is basically worthless.

3. It has a built in cup holder that is in an inconvenient place - right by the child's arm. If your child puts their cup there you will spend most of your time picking it up off of the floor.

It is worth the money if you're using it for a backup high chair or a booster seat. I did like that the tray washes easily and does not stain. Her Fisher Price space saver tray could never hold up to spaghetti or any other red sauce spills. It's also easy to travel with and install. If it had a bigger tray, I would have given it a higher rating.

My parents purchased this for use at their house for my now 2 1/2 year old son. We live overseas and come back to the us twice a year. He initially used it just before his second birthday. I was not initially impressed, the straps to secure it to the chair don't pull tight and stay tight so it always wobbles a considerable amount. (The "teeth" on the straps you can pull to shorten the strap are pretty much non existent) the tray is small and the slot plastic tab to secure the tray is flimsy and when my son pushes on it he can push it off. There are 2 adjustable positions and the position giving the most space is not big enough for my son. The tray is not big enough for a bowl or plate and the slot for the cup is in a bad position as my son knocks it over every time he reaches for food we just lay on the tray. To make matters worse I've been concerned for some time and adjusting the strap a couple of times a week during this visit as I feared my son would fall forward and today that happened. My son leaned forward and he, the booster seat an quite a heavy chair all hit the ground, with my son under it all. If he would have been nearer the glass table he could have been seriously injured if not killed. The booster seat completely slid off the chair before the fall happened and I could not get to him in time to prevent the fall. I expected that if the booster seat came off the chair that there would not be enough weight to take it down. I completely hate this booster seat, it may be cheap but it's not worth the $17. We have a fisher price rainforest booster seat at home that's on a similar size chair and it might be double the price, but is secure and comes with a toy insert. Im surprised how rubbish this is considering the name of the brand. When it comes to your child's safety - pay extra.

I am on the fence on this booster. I bought two for my twins and these are my pros and cons...

Pros
Comes with a seatbelt so you can strap little ones in
Very lightweight
Height easily adjusts
Easy to clean
Easy to remove the tray (also a con)
Easy to remove the straps so you can wash them

Cons
The tray is way too tiny--too small to fit a kid's plate on and the cup holder is too small to fit a sippy cup, which makes you wonder why they even have a space for it. Which doesn't really matter anyway because...
The seat is too shallow when you use the tray so we have never really been able to use the trays, which leads me to the next con...
Without the tray there is a big hole in the seat where the tray fits and this becomes a major distraction for the kids. They spend the entire mealtime fixated on this stupid hole. It took me a couple of weeks after using it to realize they'd been sticking silverware and food through the hole, which was a nice little surprise when I removed the seats from the dining room chairs. Yuck!

Overall, I would probably buy again just because they were a good price and since I have to buy two of everything for my twins I tend to be a lot more frugal than I was back with my first child. But I'm sure there are better seats out there.
