Pros:
Camera:
Awesome picture quality. The night IR is fantastic. I can see EVERYTHING. The daytime is also very good. It is pretty easy to move around. It looks easy to wall-mount, but I have mine on a dresser as we are moving shortly.
Monitor:
You can customize how sensitive you want it to be. I like that I can have the volume way down on the monitor and see a visual cue that it is detecting noise. That way I can choose to turn up the volume to hear what's happening or check my phone to see the camera display. Or I can just leave the volume up and I can hear very clearly what is going on in the baby's room. There's also an option to talk to the room, which i haven't really tried. There is also a night light feature that I used just to try but didn't prefer to use. You also have the option of plugging this in or making it mobile. I took mine around the house when I was busy doing something where I couldn't use my phone to check the video. It worked okay...
Cons:
Camera:
Bright blue light at night. I'm assuming this is to aid in the night vision. I tried covering it and it did decrease the night vision some, but I think I would tape over it and have a worse quality image rather than a bright blue light keeping baby (and myself) up. Not a huge deal. My LEAST FAVORITE part of the camera is the fact that it makes a noise every time it reconnects. This has happened several times in the middle of the night and has caused my baby to wake up once or twice so far. WHY??? That needs to not be a thing PRONTO. I'm assuming there must be a way to make this stop but I haven't been able to figure it out. I kind of gave up reaching out to the company for help since I'm usually looking for help at a crazy late hour when I can't talk because I'm not trying to wake baby. To use the text help through the app you have to provide A TON of info that I didn't know off hand so I ended up not getting any help. Why can't the app tell the person what I'm using since it's registered and synced like a billion different ways??
When I'm not at home, I thought it would be fun to spy on my cat. But I tend to have a lot of connectivity issues when I'm not at home. There were a lot of connectivity issues even at home to start, but they seemed to get a little better after a couple days. I haven't been able to resolve not being able to connect when not at home though.
It will still send me notifications and video of noise/movement events even when I can't connect. for instance, every time the sun comes in the room and the camera shifts from light to IR mode, it creates a movement event. I thought my cat was up to some crazy stuff, but it was just the light.
Anyway, I would still recommend this camera/monitor despite the few things I don't like about it. I like the convenience of being able to control most of it on my phone and being able to have videos of what's been going on that I can save or delete. The picture and sound quality are really good when they work.
- The baby monitor is easy to set up with the app that guides you through every step. The instruction is very clear and it saves time for those who do not like to read the manual.
- I am impressed with the wide-angle view as I thought I was not within the parameter, it detected my movement and sent me a notification. The picture quality is great and the night vision is clear. It saves the videos automatically when there is a movement or noise so you can watch it and share it with family and friends if you want which is a very cool feature.
- Users can adjust the sensitivity of movement and noise on the app. The sound quality is high and two way talk function makes it easy for me to calm my baby before getting to the bedroom.
CON:
- When setting up the monitor, the camera was not able to detect the QR code on my phone. The set up will not complete without having the QR scanned and there is no way around it. Luckily, it worked at the end (not sure why, it could have been not being near my wifi router).
- I wish the audio unit comes with a plug instead of the USB cord (no adapter) so I don’t need to worry about the audio unit dying before charge.
- During the day, the blue light on the camera is not very noticeable but at night, it is quite bright. However, it does not bother my baby and I like that it is blue and not green (too many scary movies).
- I think it is more suitable for babies older than a year old. Personally, I had always worry about sudden infant death syndrome and my baby was in NICU for a week after he was born where he had his heart rate tracked and it helped me to feel more at ease. But when baby is older than 1 year old, the baby monitor is perfect.
Overall, the baby monitor is excellent and it helps me to more calm when I am not in the same room as my baby. I would recommend the baby monitor to other parents.

First of all, it's unreliable. It disconnects randomly without indication. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've woken up from a dead sleep to a baby screaming from the nursery.
After all of the resets I've tried, I've not yet been able to get my smart audio unit to connect and stay connected longer than a few seconds.
The blue light in the camera is super bright. I wouldn't be able to get good restful sleep with that shining in my face all night, why would my baby?
All in all, I wish I read more ratings before buying this expensive cam. It's not even close to worth it. I'll be switching back to an older cam with a terrible pixelated screen on it--at least I'll have some peace knowing it'll do what it's meant to do.

Update: I've only used the sound unit a handful of times and now it no longer charges.

But an update broke the audio unit. Since the update goes automatically when you plug it in while power on il will suggest to wait before buying that Safety 1st fix the update.
