Safety I have heard that some chalk-boards contain asbestos... does anyone know the specifics on this product? Made in USA? Tested to hazards (asbestos, lead paint, etc)? Thank you for your help....

I am not sure, but with this particular easel, I'd be more worried about the child removing the nut covers (or whatever they're called), and swallowing them. They're pretty & primary-colored and my son removed many of them with little effort. He is an 'unscrewer' though. Thankfully he was never much of a put-it-in-his-mouth child...but it prompted me to have to use screw glue to really secure the nuts. I think it looks 'cute' but they should have use lock washers or something.

I have no clue about the asbestos, sorry.
