About the Author
Candace Blevins' Safeword series gives us romance books about characters who happen to have some extreme kinks. Relationships can be difficult enough without throwing power exchange into the mix, and her books show characters who care enough about each other to fight to make the relationship work.

To prepare for their Honeymoon there is much Training to be done. Ethan's c**k is scarily humongous!! In order to fit, much stretching has to happen. Ethan loves mathematics & figuring out how to accomplish this, He has a spreadsheet. Samantha has to do some of the hardest training of her life, & this chick is into training & pushing her body!! :-)
i went through a gamut of feelings from love to hate, lust to zero desire, pain 0-10 right along with Sam. Ms. Blevins does it correctly, everything written could & does happen. i've watched many scenes with similar activities. It's how i was able to get lost in & enjoy reading, even tho it's not my level of kink. The love & romance mixed together with S/m is wonderful.
On to the Honeymoon!
I first fell in love with Candace Blevins' writing when I chanced upon a copy of Safeword: Matte. Since then I have reread it many times, as well as a number of her other books I purchased since Safeword: Matte, including Safeword: Rainbow, another favorite of mine. Viv and Tyler (frequent "guests" in the Safeword: Matte books) also had a fantastic honeymoon, although I found it much too brief and I would have loved to read about it in greater detail, as we are going to get in Safeword: Matte - The Honeymoon.
I won't go into detail about Safeword: Matte - In Training, as other reviewers have already done so. Just know that Safeword: Matte - In Training is a wonderful and worthy sequel to Safeword: Matte.
So, for all of you who are in love with Sam and Ethan, buy this book and mark your calendars for August 1, 2014, Safeword: Matte - The Honeymoon. For those of you not yet acquainted with this wonderful couple, read Safeword: Matte and, after having read it, you won't hesitate to buy this book. I guarantee it.
Note to Candace Blevins: Are you still going to write Safeword: Matte - Happily Ever After? If so, do you have a projected publication date for it? As well, I want to thank you for writing such wonderful books. I have enjoyed every one that I have read, but most especially the Safeword: Matte series. However, one tiny, tiny hesitation with this one; what's with the Tyler/Travis name switching?
"But you aren't the average divorce attorney. You aren't the average anything, and it's part of why I love you so much." He leaned back, looked into her face, and brushed a loose strand of hair away from her face. "Still, it has to be hard, watching the end of relationships that likely started out with such promise."
"If you and I ever get around to having kids, I won't let anyone come near who'll treat them as less than perfect. Once they're grown they can fight their own battles, but while they're forming their own self-image and sense of worth, I won't let anyone make them feel inferior." He didn't sound pissed, just matter-of-fact, but Sam had no doubt he meant every word.
I will re-read this book and always look forward to more by this author.
This book contains some scenes which border on disturbing, and some of the detail is almost more than I wanted to know, but at the same time it is compelling in its intensity. Above all, it is a romance, and I love seeing how Sam and Ethan’s relationship develops. They work to make it good for both of them.
Again, Candace has delivered a book with romance and BDSM in equal parts, and I enjoyed it very much.
