There are obvious similarities to the class Giant Series of modules, written by Gygax, himself. However, the author goes far beyond what Gygax covered, by adding in dungeons for Stone Giants, as well as Storm Giants! The story lines are different, of course, but there are numerous similarities, on the surface, at least.
The Basic Fantasy RPG modules all have the monsters' HP listed as empty squares, allowing the GM to mark them off, as they are lost. These are simply written, with the fluff in the beginning of the modules. The room entries are more straightforward, similar to Gygax's early modules. They are like a blast from the past. GM's can freely embellish the printed modules to suit their individual campaigns, as needed.
There is a LOT of material here, for your money! The print-on-demand quality is excellent, as is the low price! While the PDF's are free to download, I despise running adventures from a screen, so I would end up printing these off, anyway, so I saved myself the time and hassle, by ordering the POD copies Worth every penny!
