Outstanding EP. I can listen to this on repeat, and it seems like the first time I've heard the album each time. I love how innocent her voice is, yet how mature the lyrical content is. My only problem with the CD is that it doesn't have more songs. :-(

Today it seems like we are bombarded with the same handful of artists and their lame songs. Jhene's voice is so unique and enchanting and her songs are relatable, at least to me...i keep this joint on repeat!

I stumbled upon this album while surfing YouTube. The album takes me to a place I don't recall existing yet it is ever so real. My absolute favorite track is "Stay Ready [What a Life]." The lyrics, the beat and her voice all flow. It's almost otherworldly to me. "The Worst" is another great track with her signature songwriting. If you like this album, you may want to check a couple of tracks in which she collaborated: Drake's "From Time" and Schoolboy's "Fantasy." Amazing work.

It was OK. I don't feel she is the next Sade, but then again I am old school! I was turned off by some of the explicit language used that seemed unnecessary to what she was trying to convey in her music. I realize now there is a 'cleaner' version, but I wanted to see her true views from all sides. I'll continue to be a 'radio' fan, don't think I will invest in my cd collection.

I love the whole EP has a fresh sound, but familiar style. Love her sound and the flow of her voice against the different tracks. When I see her and hear music only one person comes to mind and that's Ameriie. Both of these ladies have a very distinctive and unique voice and present to their style. I'm looking for to hearing more from Jhené Aiko a whole album with at least 14 tracks would be excellent.

Every song on this EP/album is great. They are each different in their own way.

I'm surprised "3:16" is the least popular because that's one of my favorites.
But as I said, they are ALL great and unique songs with powerful lyrics.

If I had to pick 1 favorite though, it would probably be "Bed Peace". Just a personal favorite.

Also, on an unfortunate note, this album/EP is, in my opinion, much better than her newly released album titled "Souled Out"...but you be the judge.

Finally....good music is back. I thought I loved "The Worst" but when I listened to the tracks on this Album I clearly had to get it! If you are looking for lyrically meaningful music, buy this album now. Listen to each sample and still buy this Album and then go tell all your friends and buy this album and give as a gift! Ever been through some things...play this until you get the healing you desire! Loves it.

A great effort from Aiko, although I'm waiting for a full - length. Hre sound runs along the vocal flutterings of Dengue Fever, the smooth trip -hop of Tricky, and the lyrical prowess of Carol King smashed with Marley. She's feminine but not overt. Strong in her lyrics without trying too hard. And the beats are nice. The album tends to lean to the slow and melancholic, so I'm looking forward to the next one and to seeing where she grows. A very mature effort, wish there were more of her kind making music.
