Great little Arduino-like device. The Leonardo, for the uninitiated, uses a different microcontroller (the ATmega32u4 instead of the ATmega328p), but packaged in the same form as the Uno (with the ATmega328).
The net result of this chip change? Surprisingly little for most projects. The advantages? The Leonardo uses the now eponymous micro USB connector instead of the older USB B that the UNO uses. So it's easier to power your project with an extra cell phone charger you've got lying around. The Leonardo, because the ATmega32u4 can act as a USB controller (which the Uno needs a separate chip for), can act as a USB keyboard and/or mouse. So you can now make a project that can send commands to a computer, so you can use the Leonardo to send macro-like command strings to your computer, or any computer since it can emulate a standard HID.
