The material is so soft, light weight and very comfortable. I didn't read the product description carefully before I bought it and cannot believe by the feel of this dress that it's not cotton. It feels like a cotton jersey tee shirt but the tag on my dress says 92% rayon and 8% spandex. The only problem with this is it also says Dry Clean Only. Well, I don't have time for that so I went against instructions and washed on gentle cycle with cold water & let lay flat to dry & it was fine, it didn't shrink or fall apart. It did need a light touch with an iron on rayon setting afterward.
Overall I'm pleased with this dress and I love it for the comfortable softness.
Anyway, I repaired the hole, and about a week later, I needed something to wear to a small family cookout. I paired the dress with a cropped denim vest, and a pair of flats. I am 5'9, so I was surprised when the dress was dragging on the floor a little, so i had to trade in my flats for some heeled sandals. When I came home that night from the cookout, and took off the dress, the inside elastic on the bodice was unraveling. At this point, I'm not sure If I can sew that back in place either. I went to a freaking cookout and walked around. There was no dancing, I din't run a marathon, or roll around on the ground. Also, the bottom of the dress was unraveling too, which I tried to avoid by holding it up as best as I could, which got annoying.
I really wanted to like the dress, It did fit nicely, (although a little long) and it was soft, and a beautiful color. But it is falling apart. It is a piece of junk.
