These are so smooth and rich in color. I love using them in the creation of my ATCs that I trade. They even work well on smooth plastic, but require a coating of a clear sealant of some sort to keep them from smearing, even after 'drying' for a full day. I have found that the clear Glaze pen is perfect for that, and gives dimension, yet still allows for the glitter effect to show through nicely.
Seriously great product. Flows smoothly when not too much pressure is exerted. A light touch is definitely better for a fluid writing or coloring experience. If the flow bogs down because of damp or pulpy paper surface, just tapping out little dots of color will allow for you to fill in areas that you want to have full color coverage.
The colors are great. I absolutely love the sparkle. They haven't dried out; I've had them about 6 months. It's not a fine pen; it leaves a bold line of writing. The yellow is a bit hard to see on white paper, but it still works. Push the cap on until you feel it snap into place or you'll lose the cap.
If you carefully slice off a bit of the plastic package at the top of the pens (leaving the rest of the pkg intact) you can use the pkg as a holder for storing the pens. I slip the little pen-clip over the edge of the plastic to hold them in place. I store them upside down to keep the ink ready to flow.
I wish my set had a consistent flow like others seem to have. Maybe I just got a bad set.
