The best tool to achieve the best results
The project was special - a little baby girl was born, and this was the gift to honor her arrival onto the planet Earth. The concept for the painting took a month to detail, the sketch took nearly a week, the water coloring took several days, but the inking, the most important step in its creation required such precision that only a special tool would do. And Sakura pens of different sizes could accept that mission. And they did - in a fabulous way!These pens are the best. their line is smooth and even, no smears, no blobs of ink along the way. Jut pure perfection.The baby will look at that painting 20 years from now, and it will still be as stunning as it is now.

Great product and good value for your money. I'm personally using these to write in two different bibles and haven't noticed any smudging. It does bleed through the page very slightly in one of my bibles. (They each use a different type of Bible paper). The black is a nice deep color and the lines are crisp. I also plan on using these to draw with since the quality I very good. Definitely recommend.

For the Sakura Micron Fineliners, I actually really enjoy using them. I think I enjoy the brush tip and graphic liner tip the most, because they allow for a lot of creativity in artwork. The fineliners are a bit questionable, I enjoy them a lot for outlining my drawings but after a while they will get worn and the felt tip might rip straight off. I accidentally had dropped one of these pens on the floor once, and the tip fell right off and it is no longer usable (for reference, it was the 08, so not the smallest fineliner pen). They are very fragile and if used I really suggest being careful with ALL of them, not just the 005. Otherwise, these are very precise, last a long time, and work pretty well for me.
