Mitch is practically giving away all the secrets here. Well, maybe not all of them, but seriously, for $10 or $12 or $20 this book is way too cheap for the content that's in it.
Thankfully most event pros don't read. If it's not a flashy light or an argument about which is better: Serato or Virtual DJ, they won't pay attention.
Seriously, if you are an event pro who actually reads, and you want to learn how to better serve your potential and existing customers this is a great book. Don't read it though . . . only I should read it.
Mitch offers a myriad of approaches to handle objections and how YOU can show your clients YOUR value. This is a book that is not one that should only be read once. I will definitely open it again and again as I do Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich."
This book is a MUST for any business owner looking to grow their business. As Mitch puts it, "Your income is determined by your clients' OUTCOME."
Secondly, I've never really had the push (or the desire) to fully "research" my prospective clients. But with the point of view and insight provided in the first third of this book, I can firmly say that for the benefit of creating better connections with potential clients, it is something I'll be following to the letter as this book describes.
Whether you're selling products or services, to high end boutique or budget conscious clients, there is no reason you shouldn't get a 100 to 1 return on the cost of this book.
Is it a perfect book, of course not (you wouldn't believe this review if I told you it was). But it is going to add more to the bottom line of your buisness and provide you with happier clients. Of that, I am 100% sure.
Mitch's approach to writing is straightforward, useful, and engaging, yielding a final product that is short and easy-to-read but packed to the gills with essential knowledge and the action items you need to create a creative sales plan for your business.
This book is tailored to special event professionals but contains lots of "nuggets" of wisdom applicable across many other fields, as well.
I highly recommend this book as an addition to the library of any event business owner or sales professional. This book will inspire you to make some small but important changes that will improve your sales exponentially.
